[deleted post]Huawei has great zoom capabilities and night mode, but actual picture quality looks overprocessed, at least in my opinion, and also it seems like they use some sort of beautification even on main camera. Also video is quite poor in comparison to other phone makers even in middle range.

Unfortunately, as far as camera sensors go, one plus one does not equal two.

GAMIRSFM, 05 Aug 2019They might make the sensor bigger... but the processing is ... moreHuawei has the best 5x zoom image quality and possibly the best image quality in complete darkness, but otherwise they are not the best. In low-light conditions their image processing (maybe due to the RYB sensor) produces red artifacts and other artifacts, so I would even prefer the Mate 20 Pro. In daylight conditions they overexpose more often than Google and colors also look much worse. Furthermore the sensor behaves like a 10 megapixel sensor, so in daylight conditions you get less details. The 2x zoom setting is also worse than Apple's or Samsung's 2x zoom. In good light conditions Huawei cameras are just mediocre, much worse than Google or Apple. Huawei dng files also don't seem to be very good.

Right now P30Pro makes most natural pictures out there. Not like Samsung products that are known for excessive noise filtering and oversharpening. I'd believe you if you said that about P20Pro using early firmware.

Nokia was King of camera phone and wil be again, because other are all copying Nokia, remember Nokia 808, 41 MP camera phone

They might make the sensor bigger... but the processing is still over filtered, i don't like how the photos look on the P30 Pro.

As "Ice universe" wrote that "I'll draw a picture" , it seems that this isn't a leak, but a creation by ice universe. This means that if it's a 1/1.55" type sensor, the aspect ratio could be different and it could be a multi aspect ratio sensor. In this case the 4:3 image quality could be the same.

Huawei really is the king of camera hardware. Theres no doubt about it.
Their software is top notch as well with only google coming close to Huawei. But Huawei still has the better Night Mode and better zoom quality
