Speaking of the number 4, my cousin gave me his Nexus 4 which was rooted and has Kalilinux. Nexus 4 is solid for a 7-year-old device! It is a little slow due to its Snapdragon S4 Pro and might need a new digitizer. Its battery life is also quite horrendous. But for its age, it can still hold up pretty well. Definitely better than most phones released in 2012 and even 2013.

After getting a Nexus 4, it makes me want to get a Nexus 5. That's considered the best Nexus ever made. Snapdragon 800 was also quite a step up from S4 Pro and the 600 which the HTC One M7 and Galaxy S4 had. I feel the Pixel 4 is at a step in the right direction with the face unlock, 6 GB RAM, and Telephoto, but I still feel Google could've done better. I feel they're not going all out and still holding back to save for its successors.

Pixel 4 will feel like iPhone 4 while Pixel 5 will feel like 4s with the necessary internal hardware upgrades. I just don't feel Pixel 4 will feel future-proof enough. It is still missing a wide-angle lens, RAM should be 8-12 GB, and battery should be far bigger. One thing going for the Nexus 4 is the design, in-hand feel, and size is better than the Nexus 5 although that's all subjective. I felt Nexus 5 was better overall though.

Seems like iPhone users still believe Apple invented touch gestures and keep accusing Google for copying it. LOL. Apple never even had a back gesture.

    https://www.theverge.com/2019/8/7/20757780/google-android-final-beta-6-back-gesture-official-release-weeks?&ampcf=1

I'm just waiting for Q. Most of the stuff Google is doing lately is something I already experienced with the All-In-One Gesture app I used six years ago including setting the sensitivity.

I'll wait for Pixel 7 in 2022. According to Avengers: Endgame, a Pixel 3 can still be used to take photos with Hulk in 2023. Hulk Out!

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2019Xperia 1 does not have 120hz display. It has, even XA2 has.

Since X series, all Xperia with 1080p or above are 120Hz.
XZ2 Premium has WRGB 144 Hz LCD.

They dont use cheap screens like chinese phones.

Can you please make up your mind when a phone does come with 8-12 GB Ram you say its overkill but when Google don't provide that in their up coming flagship you moan.

See. This is a proof that Samsung Mobile cant prevent Samsung Disolay from selling their best stuff until Mobile uses.

                          Mi9 has 90Hz, locked to 60, updated to 75.
                          OP7 Pro has 90
                          RoG 1 has 90
                          Rog 2 has 120
                          Xperia 1 has 120

                          And now Pixel 4.

-with 4gb RAM pixel outperform in stability phones with 8+gb
-64GB storage together with unlimited cloud backup outperform everything on the market

Google is such a big company no worries for fund and R& D they are deliberately not using all high end specs becasue they want to add an extra feature every year & milk customer in the long run. think about that when small companies like oppo vivo redmi are giving so much why not google because they knew that their customers are loyal & they will buy in any case, but this strategy will not work in long ultimately google has to implement all the innovation in one handset rather adding each every year. If they want they could produce one of the best mobile till date with all specs on top notch like a 48mp sony sensor with their night sight , 1 tb storage, 8-12 gigs of ram, 5000 mh battery, dual active sim, telephoto, wide, macro camera with tof sensor. etc it could be one of the best mobile buy no they will not do this, dont know why.

I can live with 3700 mah battery, 128gb ROM is enough, I am looking forward to Stadia + desktop mode, so non of current pixel minuses are problematic, except 6gb ram :( it is 2019 Google gave as extra ram pl.

It doesn't matter, with SuperRes 1.1x-1.9x performance is greatly improved, as is 2.1x-~4x. They look all the same with too much interpolation but then 24-85 are the most commonly used equiv. FLs. It's a sweet spot.
Well whatever Google puts in there will eventually make it to many other devices (with the proper api support) through Gcam anyway :)
