They can't even give a USB C to 3.5 mm adapter in the box let alone a 45w charger. It's really a good thing that they at least provide Type C headphones. But still you will need to shell few more bucks in order to use headphones having 3.5 mm jack.

All of my previous phones were flagship and believe it or not, I AM willing to shell out $1000 for a Note 10 (that's the price here) in a heartbeat had it been a no compromise device.
The tipping point for me is basically the 3.5mm headphone jack, so I went for Huawei Mate 20 X instead.

Way bigger screen on the same body. 4GB more ram (the biggest upgrade ever), 512 GB more storage (the bigger upgrade ever). Exynos 9825. More than 90% BtS ratio, 3.5mm jack is retained (via the adapter). 4300 may battery, one of the biggest upgrades there too.
Samsun basically jumped this year around. It will sell like hotcakes... Very rarely do the post a clearly better phone YoY. Maybe Note 3...

No high refresh ra... moreOnly in US. Everywhere else it is the new Exynos. They have not removed the jack, they give you an adapter, this is nonsense. They did remove the heart rate sensor. Dunno about that never used it.
An article mostly made of lies in other words. The one thing that they removed was a niche item, much like the IR removal years passed I do not expect to affect them.
Apart from that it is the firt st truly high end Note after year. Record breaking BtS ratio, record breaking Battery capacity (as far as flagships go). 12TB/1TB option which is the max anyone can offer. An upgrade SoC (unlike last year).
The truth is the exact opposite than what this article implies. I expect record breaking sales. Users care about specs above all. Every time Samsung releases stuffed phones they sell !like crazy...

SAMSUNG going down hill. why cant they make one decent phone with all the available technologies. Just to mint money and saving available things for next phone is killing them. not a single phone after s7 edge is complete package. either they are too big or less small battery or too expensive. i had high hopes with note 10 but disappointed.

Plus by giving up the stylus, I gain a bigger 7.2 inch screen, extra 700 mAh, equally fluid UI, a 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, a 85mm telephoto lens instead of a 52mm lens and best of all at half the price of Note 10+. Go figure.

New Note phones doesn't have any kind of stand-out, best-in-class features. Even S-Pen doesn't bring huge improvements over Note9 and Note10+ is barely a successor to Note9. Who would upgrade their Note9 with Note10 and pay more for less features?

Samcuck just played themselves. They've just lost a customer in me and have quiet possibly killed the Note series. Was bad enough when they took IR blaster and removable battery away with the Note 5 from the Note 4. No note would have been better than this piece of crap with outdated SD855.

Samsuck just made their biggest mistake yet. Congratulations Samsuck. You played yourself.
Few people will buy this piece of crap. No headphone jack is totally unacceptable. No micro SD I can understand because UFS 3.0 is faster and 256gb starting is very good. Headphone jack is still unsurpassed however. Wireless technology is inferior. Expensive, no IR blaster and smaller battery capacity on Note 10 model at 3500mah battery. My note 9 has 0.1 inch bigger screen and yet 500mah battery. Disgraceful.

Phone manufacturers need to understand that the smartphone industry reach a point where is no longer understanding to spend 1000$ for a phone that has just some small performance increases since last years models.
I mean, take for example Note 10/Note 10+. The phones cost 950$/1150$ but are more or less the same as the S10/S10+ which cost now about 700$/800$. So, why pay 200$ just to have a stupid S pen?
And the examples can continue with other manufacturers too.

Though we've seen this removal a mile away (last October), I can fulfil my expectation that this is a miss. Samsung could've used their more advanced exported tech instead of something incremental. I don't care about the extra 20 minutes of battery life and vibrations. Killing off the jack for that reason (which they had prepared since October last year) was crApple enough to warrant the hate/miss.

and for the first time, Samsung is releasing a Note with an already outdated CPU - Snapdragon 855 vs the new 855 Plus.
And for what price!
