08 August 2019
The battery will still function but you won't be able to see its health status.

you. get. what. you. pay. for.

Too much hype for a ~ 3000mAh battery.

Based on my experience in the past 6s & 8, people are too obsessed with % battery health. Regardless of your usage battery degrades over time. Noticeable lower performance within 2 years. As long as Apple don't restrict performance like they did in the 6 battery in the past I don't see this is as major problem. Even most android phone don't have that % health like that, mostly only shown perfect/good/bad.

Hmm let's wait for the news how much drop in sales Apple will have for 2020. Hahaha they keep losing ground. They're already at 4th biggest vendor in Q2 2019. Lol

30% sales drop in 2018.. And 20% shipment drop in 2019 to date.. Add this on top and Apple's done digging their own grave.. If the trend continues by 2020 iPhones will be history

PeterThePanda, 09 Aug 2019Sooner or later, Apple's gonna put some "security chip" on ... moreand they gonna price their repair price close to new iPhone, or maybe 80% of new iPhone, to "encourage" you to just buy a new iPhone

They're like turning a phone into a subscription service.
All repairs must go through Apple. Hence their security chips on MACs, no way to get your data from a ssd, if mobo fails.

It'll only work even though you're swapping original batteries once you consult it to their centers. WHAT THE? "Thirt party batteries" ehhhh?!!!!! Nice work Apple nice work , you got plenty of $$$$$$$$$

the battery health info only makes people paranoid.
75% on my 6S, and the phone is still running perfectly

                                        Its turning into rental phone
