Benchmarks are just one facet, put simply having topped benchmarks, it doesn't make up for the lack of feature, no media sharing features, disabled Bluetooth, disabled WiFi, and no memory expansion
Every year 12th September, is how much faster this iphone is over last years
To digress I don't bet against Apple but we will see if the decision to only release the 5G iphone in 2020, 13 months from now, will that impact 2019 sales
The first editions of e.g. Samsung S10 5G is for all the flagship 4G phone with a 5G modem
Everybody that uses gsmarena knows that a 4G handset cannot be updated to 5G, those who purchase 4G handset are stuck with 4G and no 4G handset will surf the internet faster than a 5G handset on a 5G network,
There is no Android lag that makes me want to swap and pay extra for an iPhone.
A top down approach will show what iPhones lack when compared to Android
The new 2020 Qualcomm SoC are for the direct 5G iPhones
The choice is do you want to buy a 3rd or 4th 4G handset and then in 2020 invest in a 5G.
It is the massive increase in internet speed , this 865 chip will be the old chip for those who take the 5G step now

For some people including myself you don't need such fast speeds on your mobile phones. The only people that have an appetite for such things are the new youngsters. They are the people who get angry very fast if things don't get downloaded fast enough as per their wishes.

Banh day, 09 Aug 2019I think it is now the time to forget about development of t... morewell, it is yet meaningful for some applications, like photo editing. think about nokia 9 with its 4-6sec processing delay per image on a 845, though, mind this, they are considered of all phones manufacturers to use the best that processor. personally I do not care for gaming or likes.

I think it is now the time to forget about development of top-of-the line chip set. SD855 is already a beast and we really do not need more than that. Half a second advantage in speed test is nothing in real life usage.

Oneplus users are more satisfied with the speed of their phones even after many years. Video tests between new Iphone's and OP 7 Pro show no diference, especially when there is 90Hz which can't be included in benchmarks.

Even if that doesn't satisfy people there are many powerful video editing tools which when pushed to their limits showcases the actual power of a Chipset. PS-Apple always wins in these things.
No wonder my S8 plus feels slow, whereas iphone 6s from 2015 is still going strong

I bet you meant Apple made CPU's... well that's because google doesn't make the CPU.. and neither it is pioneer at that. Qualcomm, Mediatek, Samsung, Huawei makes those, and Google only does the software part. Thats the first reason why androids are so much slower. Lack of optimization due to so much fragmentation. Second reason is how android is made from the start. You just can't build it differently now as doing so will lead to all apps in playstore render unsupported. So even with 6GB of ram Apple is better than adroid with 100GB RAM

For example, SD845 is beaten by A12 and Kirin 980. So this year will repeat. SD855/SD855+ maybe will be beaten by A13 and Kirin 985/990.
The wrong move by Samsung for example is Galaxy Note 10/10+ is not equiped by SD855+ while new iPhone and new Mate will have newer SoC.

Why can't it reach ios levels? Google is just as big a company as apple, time to DEMAND good performance without 16gb ram and 19648 storage memory
