Can the best ultra-affordable smart band become even better? Yes, it can.

when it available in india for sale

Is there any difference between the global version with the the Chinese version with out NFC? I read in one place that if your band got disconnected from your phone, in Chinese version the language will change from what was set to Chinese. Is that true?

I use the Band3 and just bought Band4 for my wife. I use it for: daily steps, jog/walk, bicycling, alarms, notifications, sleep times and heart monitor. Battery really lasts. What else for the price?

Love my mi band 3, it show heart rate, footstep, notifications from sms and facebook messenger, analyze your sleep. Great product, worth more than costly fitbit ones. Keep it up Xiaomi

alejillo, 12 Aug 2019This is one of the worst products at least if you are using iOS.... moreWorks great on my android phone. my second charge now after 25days of use. I mainly use this for email notification, weather, steps, apps notification and skipping songs. Not sure why is worst device when it has all the features you need. People just don't know how to use it.

Guys, please listen to me.
This device is not going to replace your fitness tracker or smartwatch. It is just a gadget showing time and able to wake you up every morning. I dont understand why people really believes in thise device should measure deep sleep as garmin or fitbit. It is teenager watch, not adult watch:)

I have the Mi Band3 and one thing that I really have trouble with is trying to read the screen outdoors.
I have heard that the Mi Band4 has much better sunlight readability. Is this correct? If possible request you to please add comparative photos for sunlight readability for both the Mi Band3 & Mi Band4.

Thank!!

This is one of the worst products at least if you are using iOS. The app won't work with iPhone, just check the app rating in the app store. This band is not worth the plastic it is made of. Save your money.

Mark, 12 Aug 2019Dunno about that. U only charge every 3-4 weeks. So long i for... moreits easy but there materials that band is made of is not THAT durable, and it wear off. And its not only problem with Band 4, even Apple and Samsung have that problem because you cant skip material weariness.
After few months of such pulling it out and in, band will eventually fall off in worst possible time. Maybe now its all tight and fancy but trust me I had that problem with other devices that use such materials.

Can someone please tell me does it effecttivly tracks your sleep cycle ? Or does it just montior your sleep movements and determine your deep sleep stages when you are just not moving much? Also, can it effectively wakes you up during light sleep stage ?

palacinka, 12 Aug 201935€ and no GPS ??? who buys that crap lolSomeone who knows their way around and don't need gps. I use it for work to keep me in time in between clients. I like the size as i don't like wearing anything on my wrist outside work, plus the price is so cheap and does the job for me. So yeah i bought this crap.

Akinaro, 12 Aug 2019You should mention that charing that device is pain. You need to... moreDunno about that. U only charge every 3-4 weeks. So long i forgot i have to charge it. When u know how to do it, its really easy to remove n put it back back in.

My biggest irk is the app, I'm using Notify & fitness and while it's a little quirky, it's a bit more detailed.

As much as I like its value-for-money appeal, I'm not sure about owning one. To be brutally honest, I am leaning towards Fitbit's Inspire HR. Sure it costs around two to three times more expensive. but being Fitbit means I have confidence with their fitness technology. This is a rather conflicting decision here.

YRDN, 12 Aug 2019Opening your app, you'll see a graph of your sleep score. The ba... moreThat is not an answer to my question!
Question was: does it track short naps over daytime?
Mi bands 1, 2 and 3 do not so that....they track only if you go to sleep after 6pm (so it's not good for shifts workers, either).
Also, this band do not track your sleep phases (since it can't measure blood pressure), it's just calculating it...

Sorry to agree with a previous comments, but I am used to read way better reviews from Gsmarena.
This is not a review, maybe more an unboxing. Nothing about the screen, menu, waterproof rating, and more important for an fitness tracker, nothing about what and how well it tracks.
Other reviews are testing how accurate this traker is, and it looks like is way off. I agree is cheap, but I will not buy it to show me the time.

palacinka, 12 Aug 201935€ and no GPS ??? who buys that crap lolThis isn't a real smartwatch, this is more of a fitness tracker. It isn't meant to have GPS in the first place.

You should mention that charing that device is pain. You need to remove it from band put in charger and repeat it everytime.

eb0x, 12 Aug 2019Did you actually use this band, or have you just read the public... moreThank you for your questions. At GSMArena we simply cannot afford to write about devices we haven't personally tested. I obviously used the band, as you can see from the images but if you do not trust me or my colleagues, then that is too sad because we are working hard on proving ourselves and our genuine opinion, based on years of experience with mobile technology.

As someone who is proficient with trail running, ultra-marathons, and also participated at the World Skyrunning Series, I know that running with the Mi Band 4 could be better. But that's why I don't even try to make the point - if you are into running and tracking your stats, this obviously isn't the device for your data - this is a band for your daily use. As someone who tried various gadgets, diets, techniques and whatever related to improving your performance springs to mind, I want to give you an advice - don't run for stats, run for yourself.

Yes, the band does not reveal everything it collects. It gives you the basics and I agree better control over what is recorded and how it is delivered should be provided to users.

Yes, the band is not linked with Spotify. It should play the music running on the default music player, and we both know Spotify is a third-party app. If the Mi Band 4 could connect to external apps, I would've mentioned it.

I appreciate your feedback and will use it to provide more clarity in future reviews.
