Kriegsherr, 13 Aug 2019Sure htc maker better phone than cheap Chinese crap but 5-7... moreI still have htc one m7 and its being used by a family member.I dont care if you believe it or not.Ill let you make the calculations on how old the phone is and its still pretty solid without even root or custom rom.Ive changed the battery and it lasts full day on light use.Meanwhile huawei tablet dead and galaxy tab s3 laging after first year of use second one and its even worat.So compare the numbers 2 year old top tablet vs 2013 top phone and now the year is 2019.Buy more chineese and korean shit If you dont believe me.And the htc took a lo of beating unlike the tab s3 which was never dropped and is in top notch condition being used rarely and only with a flip case.

I was a big fan of HTC after using HTC ONE M8 which can easily beat APPLE and Samsung but introducing low end phone damaged their own reputation. As quality was degraded and everyone thought that HTC phone are worst than Xiaomi and Huawei.
If HTC makes a comeback with HIGH END phone, it can make a great success in Indian Market which is upcoming.

Keep crying that htc phones are expensive,meanwhile Ill keep using my U12+ flawlessly atleast for 5-7 years meanwhile the cheap chineese crap you are using will run good for 1-2 yeara and will either get defected or will start lagging like hell (like my tablet huawei or galaxy tab s3 which started lagging like hell after one year of not even being used as main devices or even being used).If you were smart you would know that investing more means getting more.But in the culture of poor people thinking is different or non existent (btw thats my opinion dont get mad cause you cant afford)

This one competes with Galaxy A20 but will probably cost 12,500/- which is a sweet 1000 more than A20. Instead of waiting for this I'd recommend to buy A20 which you can do right now, no waiting. Plus you get a SAmoLED display on the Samsung.

You are ver... moreDon't know where are you based but fools are everywhere. Some from India asked Xiaomi to reduce prices of particular phone. Some from USA stand hours in line at night to receive a particular phone at launch.
Only a fool would pay more for an inferior product when better product is available at same or lower price. Some may pay out of affinity but such people will be few for HTC. I would do that for Google, yeah. HTC no way.

If you can't afford somet... moreYou're out of your mind if you think this garbage HTC phone should cost $300.
For around $300 I can get Moto G7 plus, Nokia 8.1, Mi 9T, Galaxy A50. $100 or maybe $150 for US and Europe is the right price for this phone.
I am glad not everyone thinks like you or just like USA even a common operation like appendix removal would start costing like $20,000 in India where average yearly salary is around $2200.

HTC, you neglected the processor, which is ok, but 3 GB and 32 GB is NOT enough internal memory for the target demographic, namely uncles, aunties and grandparents.
My grandmother's 64GB internal storage was almost full (WhatsApp was the culprit as usual) and I had to transfer so much stuff out to her 128GB memory card , that it is an operation that I certainly cannot ask my grandmother to accomplish on a daily basis
