All OEMs build phones that DON'T last. I have to go retro just to enjoy a phone with removable battery, headphone jack, no glass back, and no notch.
One of the things all OEMs don't want to improve on is battery technology. A battery that can last thousands of cycles will ruin the industry for them. We will be stuck with these glass sandwiches with very little improvement in battery technology until the end of time. Only the camera aspect is where they want to improve and that's mostly with post-processing.

This breaks the user experience badly, especially if you are the type of person who always likes things working as intended, all the time, everytime.

Dude that was almost 4 years ago Samsung made the right steps towards customers to correct it, move on already. It´s 2019, lagging UI is a distant past.

I agree that samsung is one of the best, but the user interface and the camera are not the best anymore,
Coupe of years ago samsung was one of the worst with the exploding batteries, the fiasco with the s7/edge line up with defective displays(vertical lines and extreme burn in after short period of use)
And there are not the best when comes to battery life and software, hardware performance with lagging ui.
And about the customer service :it's arguable. I have better experience with sony that samsung about prone repairs or replacements. There are back on track but the competition is killing then is nome departments,

I wonder if Graphene will ever make it to Imaging Sensors.
That Quantum Dot image sensor was such a major failure. Grossly exaggerated claims and rather mediocre real world output.

Every year this technology is pushed two years back...
And by the looks of it, when it finally comes, in 2-3 years, there only be with very small capacity, it's like 4-6 years away for decent capacity and price away...

Best camera - Huawei/pixel ( not according to dxomark)
Better video recorder - iphone ( not according to dxomark)
Better UI - oxygen os (fast but in terms of features hello no)
Better customer service - apple (depends if you want to stop your touch ID from working when u get a screen or from a 3rd party)
Fatest UFS on any device - Samsung
Best Android CPU - Kirin (new one in mate 30) - wow is it already out? How is it when did you receive your Mate 30?

They want to cramp everything in a small body. Making a removable battery means making the body thicker. I'm definitely cool with it, but the rest of the vast majority wouldn't.
