13 August 2019
It will be capable of a full charge in less than one hour but is still nowhere near user-friendly costs.

Sure, it's not as good as the Samsung S7/iPhone 7, let alone the Samsung S10/iPhone XS. But its about on-par with the Sony Z5 phone and better than the Samsung S5.

On top of that you also get a:
- Compact size
- Decent battery size
- Useful secondary camera
- Infrared blaster
- dedicated DAC (not as good as V30, but still great)
- FM Radio
- Headphone Jack
- Proper USB-C (fast data and charging)
- microSD slot
- DualSIM support

....it truly is the most advanced phone!
They just need to update the specs (eg Software, SoC, Camera, Screen, Speaker) and it would be competitive today. Well, that's if they manage to fix the QC issues that was plaguing it.

mojojojo, 13 Aug 2019"money hungry" huh.. well let me tell you this one company ... moreoh gee, like we didnt know. there are many companies like that, Apple isnt the worst when you look at others.

card board, 14 Aug 2019I just wanted removable battery and battery kit back again.... moreIt will not happen. Because, then, people won't need to change their smartphones as often as now, and will just buy batteries. Big companies won't like that. That's why they are not removable.

Once upon a time, when I was new here (2010), this placed used to be all about Samsung and Apple until sometime in 2015. Other key players were Sony, LG, and HTC. Micromax could also feature every now and the. Of all these, only Samsung has stood the test of time, and from the look of things, this trend is not ending any time soon. Samsung will continue dominating this site because they are not only willing to take risks and innovate, but also have enough muscles keep on investing in the R&D.

I just wanted removable battery and battery kit back again.

Digital camera managed to keep the battery removable and have weather-sealing, so why phone can't do that? i'm fine with slightly thick phone.

At least Samsung is innovating unlike Apple which will deliver this in 2030.

With this, multi-day batteries are within reach!

Well, they were before efficiency plummeted due to energy-hungry devices. But not the same thing. Phones today are far from PDAs or feature phones.

Yet as said in the comments, I hope this allows for more components in the device, not absurdly thin devices. 8mm is thin enough. 6.7mm max. Otherwise that's just frivolous

Smartphone users love to create e-waste, so I don't think Samsung is rushing to release this.

Typing from my LG G5 right now. One of the last to offer removable battery and no awful glass back. Most OEMs just want us to break our smartphones to get a new one.
