Well the small note is complete waste.
Note series were always big bith great battery and best available tech.
Small note is just joke.

And i still like more Oneplus 7 pro, ROG2, Huawei P30 pro or Huawei Mate 30 pro over a note 10.

Was looking forward to the Note 10+ until I saw the aux port removed; As well as the new RAM and storage upgrades Samsung revealed earlier, wouldn't be included in the Galaxy Note 10+. The curved screen still bugs me. Still can't understand why they can't just release a normal straight glass phone along side the curved phones. And the price is getting more and more ridiculous for these phones. Debating whether I wait for a price drop for the Galaxy Note 10+ or to just buy another phone.

S Yu, 19 Aug 2019Well the density's lower, since the screen is 6.5" vs. 5.9"... moreMate 20 has the same width like mate 9, the pannel is also 1080p.so basically almost the same ppi but less sharp. That borders me very much. I realy miss my mate 9. Unbeatable brightness and very good sharpness.

I have a feeling that these Note phones will sell very badly. Samsung downhill getting deeper and deeper.

Does it matter that not all of us are jumping on the hype train to pay 1k euros for a flawed phone that will be considered obsolete in a year ?

i compare with older note edge

              1. no cut on the screen
              2. sensors, uv, spo2, heart rate, total complete
              3. 3.5 mm jack ... that is much smaller than that big hole samsung drill to put stylus, yet samsung feels to be sacrificed, to pave the way to sell wireless this and that ... totally shame
              4. user removable battery ... thanks to previous comment that stated from any point of engineering view its just total idiot if the user unable to have ease of physical access to disconnect power supply

iphone is the pioneer of world class idiot engineering stupidity, chinese phones are the dedicated follower ... and samsung join the idiot member nowadays

You can bet US carriers will be more misleading until then, like AT&T's 5Ge which is LTE-A. Luckily in Canada the Huawei situation will delay 5G deployment (no decision on allowing/disallowing them on our networks yet, will only be settled after the federal election this year), so we have time to have true 5G from the start. Also some necessary spectrum auctions for 5G will only take place next year.

S Yu, 18 Aug 2019AFAIK subpixel rendering is handed off to the DDIC, so it's... moreAgain, I don't care about the subpixel/Pentile whatever BS, I needed better *internal* resolution for zooming in screenshots or screen recordings for content creation (read: Youtube videos), the "look and feel" aspect doesn't mind me too much.
I would praise the iPhone XR looking really good for a sub-1080p device, but that sub-1080p display means recorded footage with that device will look terrible on video streaming services.

If I have to guess then the older screen was LG or JDI and the new screen is BOE.

I use note series devices since the note 3, I dont even consider the note 10 as a true note series device, the note series were always far better than the S series, in this case, the lesser note 10 is just a downgrade not worthwile for any note series user

The Note 10 is a poor deal for its price. Should have been named the Note 10e and started at around $700.

Also know that any type of Pentile is worse than RGB of the same pixel density because of fewer subpixels, so no modern 1080P AMOLED display in a mobile phone is truly 1080P.
Personally as a current Note user I'm boycotting both models for removal of the headphone jack. Lacking a stylus is somewhat inconvenient, lacking the 3.5mm jack is unacceptably inconvenient. I'm currently considering the two Asus flagships with much bigger batteries and the proper feature set, or LG flagships, or even the upcoming NEX model.

The battery has always lasted me a full (24hr) day, I would charge if it ever dropped below 20% (never happened yet in that time).
If something not in use was eating the battery, then I'd turn it off/ set it to automatically be put to sleep in future.

Anonymous, 18 Aug 2019I hope it turns into a Galaxy S6 moment where they put back... moreIronically though at least the S6 had heart rate, SpO2, an IR blaster & of course the 3.5mm jack port which bothers me most.
                                      https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6849&idPhone2=9788

I will never use the USB for headphones even if it comes in the box.
"Type-C to 3.5mm Adapter lets you use your favourite headphones without sacrificing audio quality".
Thanks for the 'ingenious' dongle change, I now can't charge at the same time:
                                      https://youtu.be/CzzxUVMGlik

With the 3.5mm port I can link to any aux amp & speakers in my car, home hifi or hotel TV & charge at the same time.
I'm not going to trade in this Note9 to lose this functionality at the end of it's life when it's a backup, I still use it especially as a 1tb music player into my hifi amp via 3.5mm, no extra wired charging pad or non existent double dongle required.

The Note9 is great in the sound department:
                                      https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note9-review-1805p3.php

If there looking at saving money & making cuts then Samsung should look at whoever comes up with these 'ingenious ideas'.
If it ain't broke, then don't fix it.

The Note10(+) was the wrong device to cut features for that whopping 100mAh battery increase & brag how it's even thinner.
You could've kept the depth of the Note9 & had zero compromise.

Shi..t battery made me vote. 3.5 made me vote competent brands
