They should have also switched it to the A76 cores oinstrad of sticking to the A75. ARM processor configuration is easy to rebuild. They would have benefitted from the extra power savings and higher performance.

It's a shame Samsung still offers budgetchipset on European market while having Snapdragon on other markets. If you buy a flagship phone for 1100 euros you expect to get the best but with Samsung you don't get the best. That's why Samsung phones aren't recommended anymore and the competition has grown rapidly.

It does not actually increase processor speed or anything else so the overall performance in "Performance Mode" is the same as normal/optimized mode.
Huawei's performance mode actually increases the overall performance of the device, it will run smoother and faster than normal. That's all I know about Huawei's performance mode.

AteX, 19 Aug 2019They dare to say it is a newer exynos chip while they gave ... moreActually the next Snapdragon chip is going to be a Monster, so Samsung is right now working on the next Exynos chip, to compete with it. Plus Samsung will move to High Megapixel Cameras across all its Middle and Top end smartphones next year. So something like a 108MP or even a 64MP camera would require enormous amount of processing power, especially in a multiple camera setup. Also, the next Exynos will have a very complex ISP setup, so hopefully 2020's smartphone should be noticeably better for Photography.

AteX, 19 Aug 2019They dare to say it is a newer exynos chip while they gave ... moreYeah since snapdragon still can’t beat Exyonse and A12 in single core performance not even pervious Exyons 9810 that shows how’s snapdragon weak as CPU performance and by the way I used mi9 with snapdragon 855 and highest GPU score and it does overheating randomly and performance turn really bad.

With that much HBM bandwidth, we can even put overtech features such as 8k 240fps recording in our phone, just to brag around.
