Everytime new flagship gets released it have the best benchmark score.
Now Note 10 is rolling the score table but soon it will be Mate 30 pro and then new apple.

Well almost no big change what a shame.

Anonymous, 19 Aug 2019They should have also switched it to the A76 cores oinstrad... moreIsn't the cortex A76 more power hungry than the A75? I think that this is the reason why they used it in the first place. The other reason is for price cut and to lower the die size of the whole chip. Anandtech did a lot of tests and the a75 cores (inside the exynos 9820! ) are sometimes much more power efficient, but yes, generally the saved power isn't a lot more and isn't worth it for the big performance downgrade.

Many thinks Apple is better in gpu and cpu...

But when we do real life speed test of both games and normal apps (gpu and cpu) sd855 is ahead of a12..

If u hav doubt u can do it..

Sure optimization has its play.. but there's a limit without good hardware.. the latest iphones and ipads all do 60fps in fortnite, asphalt, pubg for hours without any dropped frames.. whreas even the best android devices can't boast that

Damn Apple is hard to beat... and its only 3 core GPU..

This is useless without a power consumption test. This was a die shrink only, so it will be the same performance but at lower power.

Danco, 19 Aug 2019Why do iPhones have better Benchmarks when they don't have ... moreThey do have more powerful processors. Apple engineers have done a good job with their custom chips. Just because they have six core processors or lower clock speeds doesn't make them weaker than an eight core SD855. They have much better IPC per core which puts them ahead in most tasks. This is similar to how recently Intel's processors, in most circumstances, have better IPC per core than an AMD or ARM even though they may have slower clock speeds or fewer cores.
