It's a crazy world. I mean, my laptop charger is rated at 45 W - seems a huge overkill for a smartphone to me.
USB-C shows such a broad variability and already implemented so many "standards" that it might be renamed PSB-C (swapping Universal for Proprietary) straight away. Gone are days when you shopped for USB accessories by the simple rule "blue port=fast, other port=slow" :D
At the point when Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus etc. have each their own idea of charging parameters, the customers' attempts to get something "universal" prove to be futile (who are we to think we could escape the God of Commerce's will?). Let's just admit it - with the cadence of new tech announcements, there's no longer any point in thinking you'll buy any device and could rest assured that it will remain in the "top specs club" for more than a few months. Wanna avoid being "mid-range", "mediocre", "average" or "just okay"? PAY! ;) It applies to more and more devices as time goes by and the only reason why it works for the manufacturers is that people don't think it's okay to have something "just okay" :P
But it seems to be the bitter price to be paid for the eternal belief that humans' unique ability and ultimate task is to make everything "better".
All right, that all sounds a bit more pre-apocalyptic. Optimistic bit to wrap it up? No worry, it's just that 1 % of wealthy world's population who goes mental about not having the best of the best tech. Normal people couldn't care less about anything else than price, size, and colour. :D

I had to read all this mess because I spent yesterday looking at car chargers and power banks that can do 45W. I found 60W from Naztech and Anker. But the problem is: will those work? Samsung doesn't have a car charger on it's website, and it's power banks don't support such a rate beside having low rate review.
Shouldn't the industry be ashamed of itself.
Beside: Why can't I download Arabic Keyboard on Samsung Keyboard!?

I don't care whatever their tech. My experience from using samsung devices (phones and tablets) so far: after at least 3 months usage, my samsung devices will charged very slowly and after 3 hours charging (from 30%) the battery stopped charging when reached 50 or 60%, and this happens to all my samsung devices. When I bring to Samsung service center to fix, more than half people who came there were having the same issues like me and some of them had bring their devices at least more than once to fix it because the problem persist, and some of them pissed because the issues comes again after 1-3 months. Even the samsung employees can describe all the issues and the problems I had very thoroughly from my device before I told them, lol

IMO, Samsung did a wise move not including the 45 charger, as many users would ruin their batteries fast and start bashing the company.
45w would be a great charger when you're on the move, but 25w is already fast enough.

Sonu4678, 25 Aug 2019From what I understand from this article, Samsung used the ... more64 minutes actually. Which is faster than one plus 30w warp charge.

Fast Charging equals dead battery faster or blowup due to overheat.

From what I understand from this article, Samsung used the latest iteration of USB-PD i.e. 3.0.
I don't understand why people are blaming Samsung for it. You can blame Samsung for not providing 45W in the box but from what I saw on different tests that their 25W charger is fast enough. I would not advice using super-fast chargers, this is just my opinion.
PS - Full charge in 70 mins for a 4300 mAh battery is fast enough a/c to me.
