If Huawei if going to do a presentation like last year they better get a full fledged English speaking host. I still remember how all the hype from last year's presentation was killed by the president of Huawei's enormous accent.
As for the Kirin 990, They should not chase being the fastest chipset but being the most efficient, that includes being capable of performing all required tasks with low consumption and low heat. Lets see what they do?

Integrated 5G it's a nice feat towards efficiency ,altough at the moment i couldn't are less as there are no real advantage for the mobile mainstream consumers vs a well implemented 4.5G .
The good thing they stopped the fanfare about how much better is vs the others as it happened with the Kirin 970/980 where it was then easily surpassed by Samsung and Qualcomm.

Why do people always want to drag in to the conversation which country something is from, which country is best, which can or cannot be trusted ?
It's a tech site, albeit not a great one but it's about tech so why not keep the talk tech based ?

I'm no Huawei or a fan of any other specific brand but Samsung has only just released the new chip tech, it's not old being realistic....just stop being a hater and come on here to communicate properly without throwing your dummy out the pram

huawei is too slow 4k at 60fps samsung done that with s10...7nm EUV Architecture Samsung Note 10 already has it...Huawei is playing catch up game.. no wonder their phones are cheap...old technology

Goo... moreNote that they claim to be the first every generation, so this is a next generation SoC pitted against SD865 and next Exynos. SD865 is set for an integrated 5G modem. Apple may not integrate a modem in the next 2 years. Samsung is in a position to integrate their modem but there's no word yet.

I'm not anti-China. I don't care which country it is. If they can reach success, good on them. I'm just against the means they have employed so far. If they can change that, perfect. This also applies in other countries with ridiculous working conditions such as where most clothes are made.
