7hh, 24 Aug 2019Dead on arrival Explain to me how is Kirin 990 dead on arrival? Kirin 990 have the latest Cortex A77 microarchitecture for CPU and GPU. The newest Exynos 9825 in Note 10+ only have Cortex A75 from 2017. That is two generations behind. You are definitely a troll.

They are the least impressive and least sophisticated of top level SoC's. Only Apple and Samsung use custom cores. I can appreciate those two companies for investing in custom designs.

You must compare todays flagship head to head for example Note 10 series vs iPhone XI series vs Mate 30 series. Their release date is not far. Note usually be released August. iPhone usually be released on September. Mate usually be released on Oct. The wrong move by Samsung is they didn't use SD855+ to catch up. Qualcomm know this situation that is whye they released SD855+.
