But the most used camera is unsurprisingly the main one.

If it's a phone with such a small sensor you can't nitpick and compare with DSLR. It's a different level. On one hand we have the phone which can do many things other than take pics on the other we have actual cameras only used to capture videos or pics and cost way more just to do those things. Phones need to do many things while keeping at a reasonable price. Also ultrawide can also distort on DSLR. Realize a phone has to do so much and these brands have to focus on many things not just the camera. Just appreciate the fact phones are getting better with their camera tech. Might not be the best but its evolving. For now the real cameras are in the lead.

Tele is good for photographing faraway sights, but most people only do Selfies on travel and Ultrawide is better for Groufies

Also you could just crop a 4:3 into 3:2 but what does that have to do with anything ugly? No one cares about it being in those ratio as long as it looks good (especially when you can crop). Maybe buy a real camera and not complain about phones that have cameras for the sake multitasking and not for the sole purpose of using its camera.

Well duh? No one cares about telephoto, if you want to be a paparazzi or pervert go buy a proper camera with a decent lens

It seem the tele photo just like the miniature photo not everyone use it.

Are you paying attention, Google?

Putting only a telephoto and no ultrawide in the Pixel 4, dumb move!

id like the standard camera to be slightly wider than what it is. its usually around 26mm on most phones. i dont know much about photography but a 22mm lens on the standard camera would take very good shorts that are wide and with no distortion. This should be more so now with screens moving further and further away from anything close to 4:3.

All Apple and Samsung have done is quietly steal innovation from HTC and LG.

... And OEMs are still using the ugly and boxy 4:3 sensor and camera sensor manufacturers are also making the same sensor with 4:3 ratio. There is no sign of 3:2 sensors. Sick a unsmart trend. People loves distorted ultra wide photos but not the telephoto super zoom lens! I feel pity for such unsmart people.

LG Superfan, 25 Aug 2019No one cares about LG just like no one cares about VegetaI dont know about lg, but your opinion about vegeta is totaly wrong:D
Atleast in eu and balkans vegeta is very popular product.

I spend a lot of time in nature and on the open, and ultrawide is just awesome for taking photos of landscape.

LG deserves more kudos for giving us wide-angle camera. While the G5 remains one of my favorite smartphones ever, I'm starting to place the Google Pixel 3 above it. My Pixel 3 just doesn't give me problems especially with GPS or any image retention.

Pixel 3's main weakness for me is battery life on mobile data but Wi-Fi browsing can last me double SOT than the G5. And that's with multiple batteries I've used with the G5. I only get 4-5 hrs SOT tops with the G5. I can get 9-10 hrs with the Pixel 3 on the lowest brightness.

So while I much prefer removable batteries, my G5 and V20 never gave SOT over 5 hrs even when I first bought them or replaced them with newer dated batteries. Both G5 and Pixel 3 deserve alot more kudos but get bashed repeatedly for being garbage devices.

Pixel 3 is becoming officially my favorite smartphone ever and only because I prefer to support Google over any other OEM. Better size, longer Wi-Fi SOT, better camera, and better software experience than my G5. My G5 has better hardware features though but overall happier ussr experience is better on the Pixels.
