Ironic seeing that people complain that having 3000 or 3500 mah batteries are too small on Snapdragon chipsets especially for Sony phones

It's ironic once more seeing that it's actually telling that 90hz and 120hz refresh rate screens are power hungry, and also early 5g chips hence why I guess Asus upped the battery size to 5000mah on that Snapdragon smartphone..

Challenge yourself and wait for reviews

The 4.5 Ah battery of the rn8 pro is very telling. Looks like Xiaomi has discovered how power hungry mtk SoCs are and when combined with an LCD display, I predict poor battery endurance

Still MediaTek... Last time I bought a MediaTek (the Xiaomi Redmi 6), I instantly regret it, as there was not custom recovery for it. Furthermore, the development for it is always less (considerably less) than a Qualcomm SoC. Moreover - even if you are not into custom firmware for your device - even Xiaomi does not upgrade their MediaTek phones, as MediaTek stops supporting their SoCs for new Android versions; so you will be out of updates sooner than a Qualcomm device. In this case, you will even be paying more. Examples: Redmi (the original one), Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3 MediaTek, Redmi Note 4 MediaTek, Redmi Pro, and Mi Play. The last two are perfect examples of bad support on updates, even from Xiaomi - an OEM which supports for long its devices. But Xiaomi still tries to send them to us, due to either price per unit (of SoC, increasing profit per device), or even pressure from the Chinese government to push Chinese parts; not letting Chinese money escape the country. The last two mentioned, the Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, and Redmi Note 8 Pro are proof.
