Videos in Google Play Store listings will autoplay starting next month

Google will also disallow monetized videos in app listings from November 1, 2019.

Worst decision considering a lot of people only have access to expensive data plan. I did everything I can to disable autoplay in my browser, now Gplay do this? Better have option to disable it or modified playstore will become more popular

    My goodness. I hate autoplay video.
    Who ever thouht of autoplay video or even autobuferring
    when scrolling deserve to be killed by the most awful way ever, and his soul will be torture in the deepest level if hell for externally.

      Have Google been bought by Apple???? They are copying Appstore once again... dear, we really need a new OS...

        There better be an option to disable this.

          Not happy about the auto-play aspect, but thankful for the demonetization of videos shared by publishers. I'm only there for the content at hand, not the advertising of what someone else is trying to sell me (which I would never consider purchasing at that point).
