I love all kinds of smartphones. In fact, my 1st phone was Samsung but the battery was very poor and it drained automatically. When Huawei was first introduced to me, I immediately love the user experience. I currently using a P20 phone now. All phones have pros and cons. I consider the price and specs before buying a phone. Of course, quality is included as well. I've heard a lot of good feedback than bad about Huawei. Whether there's a google service or not, I will continue to patronize their products. I love the way they improved each year. I appreciate their hard work in improving the specs every year. It's not just about the design. You have to consider as to why they designed it like that. You'll appreciate it once the phone is in your hand. After all, I love to try all the phones but I don't have a lot of money so I have to choose only one phone and that is Huawei. Huawei phone is a great phone for all people in the world and a great phone for poor people like me. haha

    Unfortunately i guess it's not the setup that was expected with a77 and g77 after all.
    But i do feel like they will release a chip with them sooner than a year from now.

        'self proclaimed king of the camera'
        - They've been praised, certified, awarded many times already, in case u wasnt aware.
        - 4k 30fps indeed better stabilization on Galaxy, but newer Honor 20 Pro on par with it
        - 4k 60fps just there for bragging rights. U need a gimbal anyway
        - I've own Leica M8 & Fuji X-E3. The closest images produce in terms of details, quality, colors are from Huawei. Samsung details preservation is abysmal, oversaturate colors like crazy, dynamic range too over the top at unrealistic level. Good luck with that.

        'Connection problems'
        - I have zero problems about it, be it on wifi or cellular data. Rumors maybe made by trolls or defective units (dont forget there are defectives on some Samsung as well)

        'Thermal throttling'
        - These are the funny parts. U dont know how Gpu Turbo works. On real life, there is no games can make it lag, in fact its stable all the way. Thermal throttling means fps drops at certain times, becomes worsen & worsen. Huawei Gpu Turbo drop the fps down to the most stable level, and maintains it, for best experience on long term gaming.

        And this thread is about newer Mate 30, which u have no idea about. Camera photography & videography wise (s-log & hlg), it will beats every Samsung phones, as always, again. And reclaims to the top of DxOmark ranking, where u suddenly believe when Note 10 on top. Sad it will sits there only for a month. Cross my fingers.

                      Mate 20 Pro ("nearly new" condition) can be bought for ~$290 in my country.

                          If US still plays with Huawei this is maybe the first time in mobile history that a killer flagship will be priced in such manner it will be transition value. That alone will shake whole market when it comes to pricing. Introducing new OS plus hardware at the price of half what is out there with preinstalled google. If they do that im onboard instantly. Google still doenst recognize that Huawei has become to large to play with. And i hope Huawei does this move. Because US needs to stop with BS crap. It will be interesting how this plays off.

                            I don't doubt that this will be a good phone.
