Trumpet could take this as a token of their "bad faith" and "complete disrespect of America" or whatever he feels like Tweeting and revoke the time extension or have more fines in place for China or whatever.
Maybe the fans will go through the steps to get gApps manually (or even better, MicroG as someone pointed out in a reply to me) but I doubt the casual user would. They'd buy the device and return it on the account of "no Play Store" and buy something else.

Does anyone have any idea about exactly what that cutout on the top left corner (on the back) means?
While it's just a case render, my heart flutters at the possibility of a Xenon Flash. It's been a long while we've seen one of those on a phone.
Also because speaker grill is clear at the bottom.
So what the heck is it?

Purchased an AL00 M20X, ain't chit to install the gapps you want. And no carrier bloat ware junk you can't uninstall. Best phone hands down I've ever had.

I really like huawei phones. I never owned one my self, I currently use samsung galaxy s9+. What is pushing away from Huawei is the google ban

Also, even if the phone launches without gapps, they could simply add a open gapps download & installation menu during the phone startup setup. Most people wouldn't even complain about that due to it's simplicity.

People will be excited to buy Huawei if it comes with its own OS, people have faith in Huawei in terms of its product quality. It can actually price it competitive and further encroach the Samsung market in Asia, Europe, ME, Africa....My M20P is doing excellent, and I am willing to tolerate few months of app support issues and willing to experiment...I have tried BB and Windows Mobile, I am sure world is still rotating at the same speed inspite of their failures

I don't care about Google bloatware if these phones are around $300-380.

I don't understand why Huawei still want to suck on Google.
It's d.o.a in the non-China markets. So might as well release with Harmony OS.

Considering in other country its not blocked, safe to say u can always install it by apk without root.

When you unlock a phone all the network preloaded apps remain even if they go nowhere on your new network

Meizu, for instance, has something called Google Installer in their own app store that allows people to install Google Frameworks and Play Services with a single tap. If Huawei can prepare a similar solution for future Huawei devices then there won't be much of a problem. If they can't for some reasons, however, they are really screwed.

Bring Mate 30 in the world , with or without Google pre-install apps. No need to worry because you download and install Google Play Store apk file and install Gmails , Google Maps and so on.
