Is it you Pro, 06 Sep 2019You say you're a Sony fans how can't you don't know Sony br... moreWow u defending them up even to the naming system? The force is strong in u boy. Funny that u said earlier Sony stick to its naming system. From S to Z to X to XZ to 1. I dont have any problem at all with their naming, just guessing what next they will use. Please tone down your Sony's worshipping attitude.
And I am fully aware how Xperia strategy launch their device, boy. Its repetitive over & over again every year, sales becomes worsen & worsen every year (this year is the worst), still they stick with that plan. What do u think? See how other competition does that make them success. Gives more for the price. Becomes better & better on newer device, not the other way around.

Shui8, 06 Sep 2019Clearly u are confusing. I'm not talking about Xperia 5. 5 ... moreYou say you're a Sony fans how can't you don't know Sony bring the super flagship (Xperia 1) at first then for September flagship. You can't ask Sony to follow your naming system if you have one (mostly follow the trends).

imparanoic, 06 Sep 2019did you know as Sony (as well as Huawei) uses all of the hi... moreSignificantly? Sorry hun but my ears disagree with you. It always depends on the headphones, their cost (sometimes), their drivers inside em etc.
As a general rule, wired is more secure, more precise, more detailed and can pass more information. That's the general rule. There are always exceptions yes, but wired headphones doesn't need to charge and work on almost every damn device on earth that supports audio output.
So sorry, but nothing beats that.
I'm using wireless headphones yeah? But I worry about their battery life a few times, or of they are connected to Silver. Issues that you cannot have with wired headphones, ever.

Vegetaholic, 06 Sep 2019Horrible battery size, will last less than a day, typical Sony BSMy XZ Premium with 3230mah and a 4k screen has typically 8 hours of screen on time.
From your comments (which I can look) you always troll on Sony posts and that's against the TOU, so you better look it up.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2019How in the hell can they call a 6.1 incher "compact"? What ... moreA high range compact device sizes 5.8 inches with ratio 19:9
Here it's 6.1 with 21:9, so we can say they are in the compact category, even if measures 16 mm length more.

Vegetaholic, 06 Sep 2019Horrible battery size, will last less than a day, typical Sony BSYou've never used a Sony device I guess. They are all easily 1.5 day devices unless you are a YouTube video streaming junkie in which case there is no help. My Compact with 2800 battery lasts 2 days with lots of talking, texting, media sharing and some browsing.

Love the Community, 05 Sep 2019A small Sony battery is comparable to most 4000mah phones. ... moreMy 3600 mAh battery is still working as well as it did two years ago without dodgy Qnovo technology. With a smaller battery, you go through more charge cycles and experience battery deterioration faster than large batteries.

Pabliell, 05 Sep 2019My reactions while reading news about Xperia 5: 6.1" FHD s... moredid you know as Sony (as well as Huawei) uses all of the high bitrate wireless codec, the actual sound quality using wireless ldac (at-pha55bt) or aptx hd receiver with 3.5mm jack actually sounds significantly better than all phones with built in 3.5mm ( apart from DP-CMX1) due to near audiophile dedicated dac and circuitry as phone 3.5mm use off the shelf components, esp considering ldac and aptx hd uses 600kbps bitrate

Charles in Toronto, 05 Sep 2019Sony calling this a compact phone is a betrayal of everyone... moreI am in a similar situation. Can't get why every phone has to be so massive. Companies introduce a range of 10 phones between 6.3 to 6.7 inches, but can't make one under 5.8. Even though they aren't truly compact, the only phones that come close are the A20e, A40 and S10e from Samsung.
