Namelesss, 06 Sep 2019Thank God I didn't fall for their marketing liesSame here. Using 808 daily until today and I had high hopes. Sadly, HMD isn't Nokia.

AnonD-706668, 06 Sep 2019Huh ! Instead of 5 cameras..If they takes 10 photo from one... moreOr ... just buy an entry level digital SLR camera for $350, and have even much better photos from a single photo, and don't care what DxO say.

Another day, another bad DxO review. Their testing is very limited, even though they are trying to make it the standard.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2019I know a photographer that has different opinion. Well photographers have patience. The, common or average Facebooker or vlogger has no idea how to do that. Wonder how much of of the flack the Nokia 9 gets because of that aspect. Not many phones capture in RAW, and just that alone coming from this device is probably the benefiting factor for what it is.

i had the mate 20 pro and the nokia 9 ... i kept the nokia 9 .... the main camera captures better details , colours , dynamic range , textures with better depth and more life like rendering and i dont need a low quality zoom with a tiny sensor or a wide angle camera with a tiny sensor just to tick a spec sheet ... i do want the best quality 28mm main camera and the nokia 9 does awesome at that ... clean android is rather refreshing after emui 9.1 as well ;-)

Dxomark??? N9 has good pics, bad video, but dxomark is not realistic at all. Who pays more - gets better score.

Dxomark is crap but I agree with their review of the Nokia 9. The camera is bad and the score it got is too generous.

Shui8, 06 Sep 2019Some of the key people from older Pureview team already mov... moreYa. When they trademarked the name PureView again, that is what it seemed to me, because to be honest some of the IP from that era is still Microsoft's I believe. PureView was not just hardware and lenses it was algorithms hw etc, the whole nine yards...I am in favor of Nokia and HMD so lets hope they can step up from where they are now.

I just checked the review.
There is a hih contrast scene they compare N9, P30 Pro and S10+.
It was a place below a bridge over the river.
There is no way the scene below a bridge can be that bright as shown by S10+.
Now even DxO seems to praise artificial results, no matter how far from real scene.
P30 Pro and N9 seemd more realistic.

AnonD-492870, 06 Sep 2019Ya, I'd say PureView was lost with the Lumia legacy. Most ... moreSome of the key people from older Pureview team already move to Huawei since P20 Pro.
These new HMD 'Pureview' just similar by naming, but obviously a different takes & vision. I applaud them for sturdy built quality devices, but not more than that.

LG Superfan, 06 Sep 2019This time I believe themCome on seriously?? You only gotta look at Samsung image close up in distance and it looks like an oil painting mess. Nokia looks more natural
