Just got an XR. So it's a big NO for me dawg.
They're mostly focusing on the camera.
Because the other improvements aren't that impressive.
On the other hand most of their costumers will only use the improved camera.

My problem with apple is that they don't make midrangers, and their flagships are overpriced. If apple fixes theses problems, my next phone may be an iPhone...

Discrete zoom camera has fixed focal length, that is equivalent to zoom relatively to focal length of main camera. Smartphone cameras have fixed focal lengths and cannot change them, they should have moving lenses to be able to change it. Thus, 5x zoom camera can do only 5x optical zoom, and 2x/3x/4x zooms will be digital from main camera.

A 2x optical means you can do 1 and 2 times optical. 3x becomes digital.
And the same for 3, 4, 5, 10x optical. It means yo can optionally zoom up to that number. After that is digital

The Bad:
- FUGLY NOTCH, it's 2019 and manufacturers have "killed" the NOTCH with a pop up camera, flip up camera etc.
- No microsd slot, it's 2019 for old Pete's sake & (C*)Apple couldn't bother adding one ever since the launch of the Original iPhone in 2007.
- No 3.5mm jack as STANDARD since iPhone 7 ditched it in 2016.
- Low internal storage as base (64GB)
- No 3D touch
- No Touch ID which is WAY MORE SECURE than Face ID since iPhone X ditched it in 2017. Under screen fingerprint sensors are a thing now, (C*)Apple!!
- Proprietary Lightning connector, open source that to make it affordable for all for Old Pete's sake!!
- No home button since iPhone X ditched it in 2017. Can (C*)Apple put it on the side to make it easier to use instead of FORCED gestures down our throat?!
The Ugly:
- Trypophobia trigger warning on the back with 3 YUUGE cameras on a "bump"

Apple should have made a product that is worth for the catastrophe that tends to wipe out our dear Huawei. I just can't imagine having a phone where Oscar (in Oscar's Oasis) resides at the back with eye popping begging for water. But brilliance of intelligence still shines like gold that no matter how deep they resides, we can always make things happen just to have them.

We are not losing 3D touch. We are replacing it with haptic touch. Software supporting the hardware thing. I mean its efficent his way. Android had it long time ago.

New, better integrated camera and the new waterproofing beyond standard IP68 is definitley something to be excited about. Together with stainless steel frame. That's some excellent build quality.
But, what will be the price?
