Even an 8th generation core i7- 8550U does outperform this A13 chip. Please don't compare laptop to smartphone...

Can't wait Apple to put A13X in to MacBook. Then developers will start putting their apps into Mac App Store. It's going to crush those super expensive core y-series i7.

Vegetaholic, 12 Sep 2019This chipset destroys most of the top laptop cpus as funny ... moreTop laptop CPUs score above that, but they also are actively cooled and use much more power.
So far, snapdragon windows laptops failed to gain much popularity and apple is the one who may switch to ARM CPUs completely, but considering global market share of the later, it might not succeed anytime soon.

Benchmark stats are not very interesting.
But how fast a phone converts videos (for little edits on the phone), how many multiple apps it can handle, how long it keeps its performance in asian countries (due to hotter weather) is way more interesting.

Sigh.. This shows that people are easily fooled by numbers and stats.
It destroys every competition, yes. But how is that useful? For playing games at steady FPS? What else? Launching apps faster? I just feel Apple's powerful chipsets are bottlenecked by the iOS environment.
