Gmaps is more updated due to the amount of data slurping power google has.

I don't know in which planet it was 1K for the base model... Even if the base model has 64G, there is an option for expandable storage up to 512GB... unlike iPhones. About the features: Samsung already had all the functionality years ago,features that Google barely started to implement in Android 10. iOS is really a good and fluent OS, but lags way behind, compared to the android's functionality. The iPhone 11 will probably cost 750 pounds, with LCD display (yes, LCD), that is only HD resolution(828x1792),compared to the Samsung's 1440x2960 super AMOLED display. The new iPhone SoC is good, but that's all.

My iphone 5 plays music, ... moreMy Android phone has several countries worth of high-detail offline maps (great for hiking and traveling), copies of Wikipedia and Wiktionary in two languages, and I can use photo editing software on RAW files (85MB each) from my real camera. I can also rsync that 10 to 100 GB of camera RAW files to my home computer so I have a safe remote backup while traveling. Not even one of those tasks would work on an iPhone. Any Android phone with 6GB+ RAM and a microSD slot does it fine.

Any reasonable argument and you guys default to update. Updates are not everything to a phone, doesn't it seem that the first thing when you spend 1000 dollars on a phone that comes into your mind is what they are going to add? I don't care about updates because Android gives everything you need when the phone comes out. Still doesn't change the fact that my low end 190$ phone has as much ram as your 1000$ flagship.

It was only just over 12 months ago samsung released the s9 model. It had 64gb Base storage with 4gb ram and cost close to £1000. Nobody batted an eyelid then and the os and features haven't changed drastically since then. It won best device from android phones too with top reviews. Some Google services running in the background use high ram on android that's why android manufacturers been adding more ram but iphones don't have that issue. Google high ram usage on Google services and u will know why there's more ram on android phones. Wait for the reviews and gsmarena verdicts will be another great device for new iphones. :D

Stop trying to defend this. It doesn't matter if IOS is efficient or not, the fact is that for $1000 you should get more than 64GB of internal storage and more than 4GB RAM. you people keep saying "the average user will not need more" but a company like Apple shouldn't be telling you what you need but giving you enough for you to find it out yourself and 4GB RAM (even 8) and 128GB storage are bellow the current standards

If you planned to buy a new iPhone and you're reading this, please consider what is written here: Do not buy the new iPhone! Its unacceptable in 2019 to buy an apex mobile device with just 4GB RAM no matter how much optimization they have! Wait until next year to buy a new redesigned iPhone with better internals albeit being 100 dollars pricier!

All it would cost Apple to put 8gb or 12gb RAM is 20-25$ more.
Judging by the price they sell the phone at, there is no excuse for putting 4gb RAM.

Maybe not always but I do it most of the time when playing pes, pubg etc... It's handy sometimes and annoying when you're really into the game. But the real point is that, if a $300-400 phone can handle that and a $1,000 can't, well, that's a shame.

And if that's not enough for you, buddy you forgot our secret weapon. Customization and custom ROMs. Your iOS can't compete with that.

There might be a trick in the Pro models where the +2 GB is reserved for the camera only (given that there's loads of modes and data to process) and hence it only activates while using the camera, but not during any other usage. That's just my guess though, we'll know for sure once the reviews are up...

Anyways don't worth spend money in these iPhone 11 series. Even if you are an Apple customer or fan is better wait until the 2020 phones from Apple and watch if they have learned something with the extra decline in sales and change part of its behaviour and notice that the opinion of customers matters even in term of design and value.
The new displays are a downgrade, the cameras are still below competitors, that it's supposedly their sales point this year or for this models. A those prices the batteries could be a lot better, the RAM bigger and why no add the new USF fast expandable memory? Ohhh, they don't want, pay their online service, cloud, TV, pay pay. Do you want listen the radio? Pay too in data and in their services too.
They lowered the base model price $50 for a reason without lose profit, because their this year hardware is cheaper but you pay the same in the more expensive models and only in the cheaper one they were unable to hide it but at the end, they are selling you a crap 5W charger in the box so they'll earn those $50 for the fast charger anyways if you want it LOL.
It's time to claim loud and clear with the walled closed that they must stop offering the cheapest hardware they can in its range price as only the A13 SoC is as good as it should. Maybe next year, with lower sales, they'll offer something new and good that worth the money they ask.
