I wasnt thinking of buying the 7T, thought to stick with my 3T which worked like a charm....until the pie update which makes the phone barely usable (I would like to think that was not intentional). I wasnt sure that I would buy a OnePlus phone again because I dont think they are the bargain they used to be. But this colour........ I love it. It will be very hard to skip!

Nuno84, 17 Sep 2019I'm with you, 17mm isn't wide enough, not ultra-wide as bra... moreWell, 1+7 looked quite good: 3700 mAh battery (but this time paired with more efficient SD855), new fast storage, OIS on main camera (which, surprisingly for me, was there from 1+6), Oxygen OS is quite good and stable, as I heard (although MIUI is fine for me, and no, ads are really easy to disable), decent UD fingerprint reader (maybe it can be better in 1+7T), stereo speakers and USB 3.1 are a nice touch.
And, I'm not a photography enthusiast, so all that camera in a smartphone should do for me is being fast and sharp. I just don't understand why do they trying to save cost on such little details as not having fully multiple focal lengths.

To summarize, OnePlus 7T will have all the features that 7T Pro has except the pop-up camera mechanism and QHD resolution and still cost $100-$150 cheaper.

I wonder how OnePlus will sell 7T Pro as upgrade.

They probably saw the Mate30 leaks and were like „oh f***, that looks like ours. We have to show ours first so that it does not appear like we copied them“

Oneplus seems to be failing in many areas but they are slowly charging (almost) premium prices. I love Oxygen OS, I even prefer it to stock Android but their choices in the last phones are far from perfect. Too big phones, the camera setup is (was) the same since the 1+ 5 and that was what made me not to buy any 1+ because I am an enthusiast photographer and when I don't have my camera I like to have a decent alternative. The 1+ 7 Pro is too big and expensive and all the other 5T, 6, 6T and 7 had the same boring camera setup. I don't care about artificial bokeh since it looks fake af, no matter what phone we're talking about. With the 1+5 they were going in the right direction, let's see how expensive the 7T will be.

So ugly! Where are manufacturers opting for such a massive, non body colored camera module.

This phone looks pretty damn good.

They all look like Motorola now with those round camera bumps.
