Basically , those who use S8 , S8+ and Note 8 , can burn their phones as they are deemed useless . Good job Samsung , keep on increasing prices and frustrating clients.

700 or 800 euros for a new S8 and they stop updates? The same as if you had bought a cheap J series 159 euros phone! Shameful. That's why I'm not buying another Samsung.

Another reason not to get a Samsung. Funny the $1000 Note 10+ won't get Android 12. Its no wonder Samsung phones hold no value after a couple of months. Shame on Samsung and other companies that follow this update policy.

S8 and Note 8 users may destroy their phones and buy new phones. After few months these users will stop getting updates and their phones will get slow. All of their hardware will crumble. Samsung The Great!
On the other hand oldest iphone devices are still getting latest updates. How incredible. I started hating samsung since my Note 4 started facing troubles being stuck on old android version. I will never ever buy samsung

inb4 People starts porting Android 10 to Galaxy J5, J7 (2016, 2017, Prime), and A3 (2017) as custom ROMs since Samsung likes to milk with this chip so much.
On the other hand, Google should enforce every manufacturer (not just Samsung) to provide more than just 2 years of Android version upgrades. It might (not) hurt sales, but just two versions aren't enough. Maybe Google should also threaten manufacturers who don't follow this as well.

Samsung still doing Samsung things... Killing updates for the S8/Note 8 is a joke. If those were some low-end super cheap devices i wouldn't say anything but we are speaking about 900 and 1000€ phones when they were new with only 2 majors updates...
