I don't see how this viable to not make the phone usage a chore in any western country. The whole point of the smartphone is to increase our productivity and provide a hassle free device.

And you say it's the "most hardware and feature rich" device. Then you defend using a screen resolution that was deemed flagship-worthy in 2014. Come on. I can't see anything here that's truly innovative. Except maybe their continuous deceptive practices of saying hybrid zoom when it's just cropping.
There are improvements over the P30 series, yes, but nothing groundbreaking and definitely nothing innovative.

The most hardware & feature-rich packed smartphone in 2019 so far.
Battery? Check. Photography? Check. Videography? Check. I still dont mind about the FHD+ screen. Using FHD screen on 6.5" device for years already. I got my own 65" 4K Sony TV at home already, thank you very much. If i got to choose between FHD & Qhd/4k smartphone display, i choose the FHD device with better things on the rest of the specs. And looks like it beats Pixel 4 in its own game, gesture control by introducing it first. Waiting for the real review of the phone.

It may not look important but I have always wanted this feature:
"The NPU is also used for the AI Auto-Rotate, which tracks your head to decide how to orient the UI instead of making guesses based on the accelerometer."

While it's very good indeed, it is also a bit underwhelming at the same time.
No QHD display (Mate 20 Pro had it)
No Periscope camera (P30 Pro had it)
Downgrading resolution may be the trend these days (iPhone XR, Note 10), but it's certainly disappointing for it to miss out on the periscope camera. Maybe Huawei is trying to create a divide between the P & Mate series... (The P series had always been more focused on photography while the Mate series was more about everything else).
Still, one of the better flagships of the year by far.
