But when sometimes goes off or freezes the screen for a whole its not good so replacement by Samsung A50 is a good idea now i hope it will last at least 4 years like the previous phone she had.

Her Lenovo Vibe X3 needed a replacement its still working but after 4 years sometimes does errors or mistakes. So it was right time for swap.

                              All you said have point.

I'm sorry, but this is all junk. Xiaomi is not going to tell you, but the article should read "Xiaomi has been working for 2 years with Visionox on developing their FOLDABLE screen, but since the technology is too premature to be commercialized, they opted to enclose a folded screen into a glass case that prevents it from being damage but most important, from being unfolded."

It irritates me that they are pretending that this is something revolutionary and that they have been working for so long to develop this when in actuality its just Xiaomi failing to produce a proper foldable phone and trying to commercialize its technology in an easier way than Samsung is doing with all the customer support.

AnonD-731363, 26 Sep 2019I think you are right it makes sense but selling just parts... moreVery true, which is why they sell devices at all price points. However, think about it like this. They don't put new tech in most of their mid-range equals to more profit. Then other companies use the tech and that results in more profit. Through this business model, Samsung has virtually no worry about needing to sell massive amounts of new tech in their own devices. After all, you saw how popular the A50 was, and it didn't have anything new.

Every company suplier etc have its reasons.

blastertoad, 25 Sep 2019And where is Motorola now? The company was not financially ... moreMotorola's downfall started long before their Android era, which actually gave them a little boost in some markets. They were still on top with their RAZRs and the E1000 in the mid-2000s also did good. The phone set to replace the E1000 was supposed to be their first 3MP camera phone and with a strong camera focus. But that didn't happen.
Sony Ericsson said thanks for the omission and stole their shares starting with their W800 and K750. Motorola never recovered.

Motorola failed in two key areas. One being that they failed in realizing that there's a market outside of America that deserves some marketing effort. They also failed in the camera department, which has been the main so few opts for their products in the upper range where camera quality is expected to be better than what they offer.

The best selling phones since the camera phone came have typically been the ones with the better performing cameras*, sadly that has never been Motorola. LG is failing due to much of the same.

*Unless its more of a camera than a phone making it look weird, then they fail in reaching the mainstream consumer.
