        Too expensive? Moto X (2013) had RGB AMOLED panel with DPI of 321. It was not an expensive device for its time.

            RGB oled is too expensive.

            Making small screens is more complicated than making bigger ones.
            TVs use RGB because they are used indoor, so no need to push brightness.
            More brightness = shorter life of blue subpixels.

                  They invest tons of money and need to earn it back.
                  They are not gonna wait until Mobile decides to use it.
                  Mobile cant prevent them from selling.

                  They sold QHD 90Hz to OnePlus and 4K 120Hz to Sony.

                        why sammy will help Xiaomi to annouce something trully new and futuristic and be beyond sammy in "wow" factor?! meh, nah, not sammy, not (maybe) LG, but...really, this is not something you know right away even if most of OLED/AMOLED screens on Xiaomi are made by Sammy itself...

                        But that is one thing, make something like this is another...and i doubt sammy will give this kind of thing "hands free" to Xiaomi.
