When taking photos with iPhone Pro, it feels like you are using professional tool. iPhone Pro zoom is crazy smooth between the different cams, i was taking photos at the concert in the weekend and the it was so much joy to use that new zoom wheel.

Also Pro new crop outside from the frame is really excellent feature. It already saved few of my concert photos. Lot of times i shoot too up and have not enough content at bottom of the photo and the photo is ruined. Now i can fix those because the camera takes more content what i can see.

Wish though if we are to compare the quality, would gsma use the same FOV for super wide and tele camera. Mirrorless samples would also help to guess which camera colors are more real. I can guess though based on sensor size, sensor tech and aperture.

Level of performance is so different as their naming, 30>11=10+.
Mate30pro was already on top with sensor tech, now processing is like mirrorless, if not better. I want it so bad.

Samsung photos looks like crap on 32" monitor, it's only for people who never see their on computer with good monitor. Iphone 11 Pro suprised me positively. I think Mate 30 Pro has best details and wide camera, but apple is very close. In some shots i preffer iphone photos than mate, but overall i proably buy mate 30 pro for my next phone.

i'm not a photography expert- but i do dabble a bit on photography with my mirrorless. i may not speak for everyone, but my standard is not about the details rather the accuracy of colors. i say pictures is for capturing a moment in life as it is- we could be artsy with composition and all, but in the end things in the picture should be rendered the closest to what our eyes can see. with this, for me, iphone is the winner, and i even hate apple and iphones.

Sold my Note 10 Plus and bought a 11 Pro Max because I cannot stand Samsung's processing. Everything is so overexposed and oversharpened. It looks find on phone screen and tablet sized screen but as soon as you load it on computer, the color is disgusting. The sensor is the same as iPhone's and lens even slightly faster so it comes down to processing and Samsung simply don't have Apple's software team and A13 to do more intensive processing.

Huawei's night mode is really good though and I understand why photographers' like Huawei's soft processing because that's what photographers do PP

Yes, in night photos Huawei Mate 30 Pro is the best, but in daylight photo Huawei Mate 30 Pro is trash. Well, I take daylight photos 90% of time and Huawei Mate 30 Pro is no go for me.

Main daylight they're all do the same quality. For night mode Huawei just has a little more colors but Huawei has the good image quality for night mode and low light with less noise. While the iPhone has more noise.

But it looks like its not caused by the RYYB sensor, because on ultra wide mode using RGGB sensor also got that red tint. Likely its a camera software processing bugs, and hopefully will be fix soon.

Other than that, grass foliage, edge sharpness, textures, noise control are spot on. No oil painting effects like Iphone 11 & Note 10 does. Its like almost an actual DSLR camera processing level. Color tuning are by Leica, therefore its got different color palette than natural color iphone does, which i tend to like more. Samsung are on the cartoony side, my least favourite.

Gsmarena, it's not the right way to compare the iPhone without night mode with the Mate 30 Pro without night mode. It's better to compare them in the default automatic mode and in the default mode Apple usually uses its night mode and Huawei doesn't as far as I know. Furthermore the default mode of Huawei is likely a night mode, too. It's just a faster night mode. So night mode isn't equal to night mode. What company A calls night mode, can be the default mode of company B. The best example is Google, which has three night modes. HDR+, HDR+ enhanced and Night Sight. Yes, HDR+ is a night mode, it's just a faster night mode than HDR+ enhanced, which is a faster night mode than Night Sight.
Internally Google calls Night Sight HDR+ nl.

I would go for loveliest colours. Cheaper than iPhone. Bonus battery lasts longer than mate and apeple

In low-light conditions the Mate 30 Pro produces some red artifacts (similar to chromatic aberration, but it's not chromatic aberration) at pixel level in at least one image. This was a common issue with the P30 Pro, but I have the impression that this issue appears less with the Mate 30 Pro. Apparently the Mate 20 Pro didn't have this issue at all. The Mate 30 Pro also handles the highlights unnaturally in at least one image, this was also an issue the P30 Pro had, but the Mate 20 Pro didn't have this issue.
