Huawei claims it has already sold over a million Mate 30 phones

01 October 2019
That's Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro combined. Things peaked at 100,000 in a minute. As a reminder, these are available only in China right now.

CrunchLife, 02 Oct 2019https://9to5google.com/2019/10/01/huawei-mate-30-pro-can-no-long... moreRisk takers for what? Phones in China are not using Google Playstore and these are Chinese people buying the Mate 30 as it's yet to have its global sale.

Hey, atleast huawei dare to claim hard number unlike their competitor.

And if they sell their flagship $500 on my country, it'll sold like hotcakes because ALL 3rd seller will hapilly instal Gaaps for FREE (Or maybe $5 bucks max). Base XR cost $1000 here, S10e is around $600 for base model, meanwhile, realme start taking over redmi hegemony because inadequate spec off redmi678 series and their price here

NotAnOpinion, 01 Oct 2019Not an credible article at all. Water-cooler nonsense. And whats your country's population? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

[deleted post]Software-wise, Apple has always been the best with optimizing iOS (albeit it STILL can't do the most basic stuff Android can); Business-wise, they are undoubtedly the absolute worst, refusing customers to have their phones fixed themselves or third-party stores (bless ya Rossmann) just to nab a few more nickels out of them.

Kifu, 01 Oct 2019Lol you have absolutely no evidence that they said most of what ... moreI'm just gonna leave this here and let you decide for yourself.

If Huawei really is squeaky clean, their server equipment wouldn't have a bug that is somehow exactly the same to the ones from a US company and behaves like theirs when triggered.

Quote:
“They have made verbatim copies of whole portions of Cisco’s user manuals,” Cisco said in its lawsuit. Cisco manuals accompany its routers, and its software is visible during the router’s operation; both are easily copied, Cisco said.
The copying was so extensive that Huawei inadvertently copied bugs in Cisco’s software, according to the lawsuit.

S Yu, 01 Oct 2019"i did not see any lies from them." A blind Huawei troll does n... moreThey can't be convinced. smh

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2019yes, but they are still using android as their platformExactly lol. You gotta love the delicious irony.

No certified Google services = no go for me. Android is already filled with backdoors, not going to add more backdoors to it.

Okay, Huawei is not shit. CPC is the shit.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2019World has 7 billion people. Why only 180 million iphones/year...... moreThat is such a stupid argument, you clearly missed his point.

ProJames-CHM, 01 Oct 2019Phones in China were already being sold without Play Services an... moreThey should go above and beyond that and start making their own operating systems from scratch, that's if they have the balls to do it.

Screw all the people saying that Huawei lies or that Huawei is bad. Yes they lie, like any other freaking company selling you stuff, they will claim that they are the very best like no one ever was when in reality they aren't that good,, so why is Huawei the one to hate for it? that's hypocrisy.

The difference here is that what Huawei says doesn't really matter anymore because there are enough channels for us to validate the quality of their products and guess what? they phones are great. they aren't perfect and have become kind off overpriced but then again, they wouldn't be the only ones, so anyone judging Huawei only is nothing more than a hypocrite.

[deleted post]Then why don't they ditch Android entirely and use their own OSs? What are they afraid of? They should start their own Chinese software ecosystem and let us enjoy our Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. I mean they did the same thing when they ripped off our social media platforms lol.

Of course, it's a great phone.
I Love Huawei

[deleted post]I want to see the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pros endurance ratings. I bet it won't be as impressive as the new iPhone 11s lineup, which are fantastic considering how small their batteries are. And the iPhones have great screens, probably the second best after Samsung. Even the LCD screen on their cheapest model is acceptable because of the way Apple caliberates it. Their cameras, although not the best, take consistently great photos and videos. And nobody can beat their SoC and software optimization, that's a fact. It's not just about being the best, it's also about the overall user experience.

Shaun, 01 Oct 2019No surprise here. If the ban wouldn't happen, Huawei would crush... moreDid they "crush" Apple and Samsung with their Mate 20 series? I didn't think so. People are buying their new smartphones because it's cheap, and because they want to show their anger against the West. That doesn't mean they're better and sales numbers will go back to normal levels after Whoway increases the prices of their latest models.

Pabliell, 02 Oct 2019Considering China has like 1.4 billion citizens, selling just 1 ... moreExactly. Even a flop will still sell millions.
By the way, did Huawei's detained princess bought a new iphone? How about Xi's family?
