The screen now have auto adjust screen brightness. It changed brightness when there in imagine place. :-)

Standby time has clearly improved with the update. Lumia 800 is a fantastic product.

Evenmore this should be a problem with the DAC used in Lumia, Wolfson is the best on a mobile, not sure Lumia 800 uses it.
- Try playing a CD rip rather than a 128 kbps Mp3 track.
- Try with a 320 kbps track

I can confirm that the Bass Response is terrific. Lumia now sings with the Music.
You've got to hear it for yourself. Good going Nokia.
Also, the three capacitive buttons now light up in all brightness settings.

in my lumia 710 has such a problem with the battery life....when it charged 100%,estimated time remanning shows 17h...........(rightness in low situation,if i gat the five calls in a day i cant use it at least 9)

the Bass effect is really very poor..even on Lumia 710...i used the best quality Sennheiser & Skull Candy Headphones...But even they failed...

nokia has fallen way off, poor battery life, unsatisfactory displays. i had the n8 an the only thing good about that phone was the camera, sound quality was the worst and the had the poorest display of blacks as they tend to be very very dark magenta colour instead of black. nokia where did you go wrong?

I heard the battery life will be improved up to 3x. good enough for someone who use it as music player.
