If the Oneplus 8 will have that screen and selfie camera I will pass. It will be more expensive of course, around $800 and maybe in 2021 OnePlus is like Samsung/Iphone prices. Where is the NeverSettle? Where is the flagship killer stuff?

Whackcar, 04 Oct 2019What the F happened to OP7T Pro?Pete previously confirmed another 5G device was being released this year, I can't see that will be anything other than a 7T Pro, although T Mobile in the USA have apparently decided to go with the 7T over the Pro version, perhaps the 7T Pro will just be 5G only?

No headphone jack again. OnePlus doesn't want more customers. Their customers since 6T to 7T are probably enough to make them profitable for a few years.

When using the phone in portrait mode, it will push your notification icons closer to the middle, which I guess isn't so bad, since the notification icons are dynamic (they can be there or not), unlike your standard icons for time, date, battery percentage, signal strength, and other radios, etc etc.
When using the phone in landscape mode, the hole is on the left-bottom, which is the area with the least content. You can notice this most with videos. Having it on the left-top instead would lead to many scenarios of a Black Circle on top of a Blue Sky or White Ceiling. And if you have a 21:9 display, it is more rectangular than a 16:9 display, so the hole is placed even further to the corner and away from the content/centre.
I have the 7 Pro, and the pop-up camera is annoying. Not only does it make the phone unnecessarily more complicated, but more expensive and more fragile. From practicality point, its an upgrade to go from the pop-up camera to the top-left corner punch-hole. And a further upgrade would be to have the camera under-screen so that it can be illuminated only when necessary... leaving the user with a full-screen experience.
Oh, and I hate rounded edges! Long-live the cheaper, better looking, and more ergonomic Flat Screen!

The Pro version will probably come without a notch or a punch hole, just like this year.
