And your old Nokia cant outrun Oukitell no matter what and thats a big phone with big screen.
Please rather stay quiet than spread nonsense.
I was just pointing the fact that almost any phone can last pretty long on a standby mode.

[deleted post]Lmao, your old crappy phones could last more than a week? No one cares, they're old and past it. My Nokia 3310 would woop that time, but what's the point doing endless comparisons? Knob

Yeah, OLED's PenTile kinda sucks, better have at least a QHD OLED to compete with a FHD LCD.

Whackcar, 09 Oct 2019As someone who have used a few Sharp phones, i can tell you... moretoo bad, it seems they wont expand to overseas market. I used a lot of their phones, there are so many features that cant be used outside of japan, like their TV function, lol, I guess its only can be use in Japan.. their osaifu-keitai/NFC too.. For people who never use sharp phones, they might having difficulty using it for first time because their UI design is 'unique' they could having problem for moving the shortcut/app icon, lol
But, yes, their phones are daaammm good! Their design isnt only for aesthetic, it has more function that we might not realized it, and Sharp phones got a lot of unique features that people never had it from their android phones

IpsDisplay, 09 Oct 2019Comments like these put tears in my eyes Thanks for you... moreI've been using several japanese Sharp phones, and like that guy mentioned about IGZO display, the phone itself last longer. The only disadvantage of their IGZO display, their color isnt 'popped up' like samsung oversaturated display.. but even under the bright sunlight it has a really crystal-clear good view unlike other phones.
Been using Sharp Aquos series (with bezelles design that was copied by Mi Mix), and I also tried Aquos Zeta series which has 120hz refresh rate, it has feature where the display can automatically decrease below 10Hz.. Unfortunately, maybe around 2015 or 2016, Sharp abandoned the bezelles design like Aquos crystal and moving toward mainstream design.. you can see it from their current flagship like Sharp R series has somewhat similar design like iPhone X with Essential PH1 notch style.. And their new another flagship Sharp Zero is a lightweight phone with curved display

Who cares about the market trend when efficiency and life cycle of a product matters. I don't get why people think more is better.

Also quite feature efficient. Tablet with such screen would be more welcome, no matter the features.

Zach, 09 Oct 2019I just love SHARP device, I like their screens and quality.... morein between 2013 to 2015 i owned and tried quite a number of Sharp phones, including the Aquos Crystal and Crystal X which were the first bezelless phones until XiaoMi revived the trend in 2016... build quality were very good and waterproofing already exist on some models before Sony jumped the wagon then everyone else followed...
the only downside were poor update and patch support, but the phones lasted till now but i have to hop over as many apps no longer support KitKat which they're stuck on... so now my old Sharp phones became my mp4 players or microSD card readers...
i waited so long for a decent successor, but Sharp has disappoint me, and in 2018 i was desperate for a replacement as my 2014 Sharp could no longer run updated common apps, i moved to Oppo and RealMe and my expectations were high as I'm used to the innovation, standard and quality the Japanese once offered... am surprised that the duo managed to seal my preference...
i still do look at new offerings from Sharp, but sadly their features are no longer on par to the price tag they command...
