The phone uses a low-power IGZO display and 4,000 mah battery that ensures battery endurance.

For a phone with midrange-tier chipset, that is quite an interesting headline. The use of Android One make thing sounds even better.

Well, for an average usage, I think it will only last up to 4 days optimistically.

"Power efficient Snapdragon 630". Yeah that's not power efficient at all. But anyway, this is for the Japs though. That man in the high castle will be pleased!

5.5", Fullhd IGZO panel, 4000mAH, metal back, all looks good and then they add sd630!!! When I thought we finally got something not for elgigante or prone to break glass sandwich, they put budget SoC instead.

Headline should be like Battery Saving Display. We doesn't need huge battery if displays consume less battery. May be in future we will see tough competitions between Amoled vs LCD. Sharp may be very Sharp than Chinese.

Impressive. A compact phone. No bezels. Though that 1-week battery is most likely standby? And does it not have any fingerprint scanner?

Good for my grandma who sometimes (well, most of the times) forgot to charge her phone and drop her phone all over the place.

Kingslayer, 09 Oct 2019I don't believe it. Maybe one-week standby. Not 28-35 hours... moreOf course stand by were years from ever having something like that with usage

I don't believe it. Maybe one-week standby. Not 28-35 hours of SOT. I do like the size at 147 mm height and the metal back.

Sharp is better than Sony IMO.

Sounds interesting. I might buy one if the price is reasonable

I'm gonna need to see the numbers before I believe that battery can last one week. That's 21 hours of screen on time and then some standby time if they're using the average phone usage per day.
