To have a 5G chipset today means absolutely nothing. 5G will take off the next years and Apple will have more time to get everything verified for several providers with their own platform. Not as stupid as you might think.

5G just like Wifi 6 will only work as advertised if you are less than 5 meters, in direct line of sight with no obstructions between you and the antenna. Another person passing by, walls or even rain will automatically disrupt the signal and automatically downgrade back to 4G
This is impractical, expensive & frankly, quite useless tech in the real world.

I wonder if they will just violate other companies patents this time as well. They already owe Ericsson billions which they refuse to pay.
Apple gets a lot of credit for "innovating" when they use or steal other companies hard earned patents and inventions.

Software: iOS is far superior to Android and with Android becoming more and more of a closed garden with each new version, its only advantage - the openness is slowly disappearing.
Display: Top of the line but almost any OEM can say the same. Props to Apple for calibrating displays though.
SoC: A13 leaves 855+ and Kirin 990 in the dust. It's not even a contest, Apple's silicon is so far ahead maybe Snapdragon 875 will catch up to this year's iPhone.
Camera: Again top of the line only riavles by the Note 10 and Mate 30 Pro. Pixel 3 kinda if all you do is point and shoot and rely on HDR+ to do the work for you.
Battery life: iPhone 11 Pro Max is the battery champ right now, dethroning the Note 10+ by a pretty wide margin despite having a smaller battery.
My only complaints would be the lack of under display fingerprint scanner and that annoying notch. Once Apple addresses that and implements file system support like they did on iPad OS, that's it. And with Android 11 implementing Scoped Storage there'll be no reason to use anything but iOS devices apart from great value devices like OnePlus/Xiaomi or phones with exclusive features like Note with its stylus.

Good decisions in busin... moreIf the 5G networks are underdeveloped in so many countries proving peeps have no use for 5G hansets yet still buy them, wouldn't that prove those peeps are dense ? Because atm, 5G handest's price are as expensive as Apple's iPhone, so paying hard for something one cannot use on the pretense that it is future-proof, yet by the time that future arrives their 5G hansets will be obsolete...oh wait, we're talking Android ones, so that's OK then.

I don't like this new apple smartphone but since Huawei lose the top smartphones please put Nokia back to no.2 above Apple iPhone. I want Nokia to use something much better, faster and more business than Apple. Nokia should take over Huawei.
