And slower than those modems from Qualcomm in cheaper phones due to the tech patents, phones that will cost half of what Apple will ask. Typical. But it doesn't matter if it'll be in 2023 or 2040 as Apple sheeps only care about watch the logo in their hands even if it's on a brick, they'll have excuses forever.

Why load a currently power consumption chip when it will sit around useless?

so they will be only 3 full years (sorry 3 and a half since new apple come late september start october so 2022 setptember/october 1st iphone 5g ?)

One correction, the current modem supplier to Apple is Apple (Intel, which Apple bought that part of the business). Apple will not start to use Qualcomm modems until next year for 5G according to reports.
