But ye, Im sure people will only nag about missing google apps like always not caring much about poitics or economy - so why care about some screen on some gadget no one wants anymore because of spying...know what I mean? There's so much problems with the company, the states, the system, the people - that some screen that 99% of people won't even buy will not matter much. Only when the Iphone Fold will be released costing around 3000$ people will care.

geekacontra, 14 Oct 2019do you recall the endurance test of the Samsung version? th... moreThere's another issue with this one, think of the stress on the hinge when closed, conducted through the screen, when this is in pants pockets. Their screen protector material had better be far stronger than Samsung's or mere friction from pocket fabric could cause light scratches to quickly build near the hinge, and it would soon look hazy.

do you recall the endurance test of the Samsung version? the one with robot 100k open-close operations? the same endurance question is valid here as the mechanism that links the two sides need to move in such way that ensures the correct stretching of the display foil. open and close the covers of a dvd or a br disk and see what happens with the external foil.....
