Anonymous, 15 Oct 2019Android for: - cheaper storage - customization but the ... moreCheaper storage because Apple loves money more even though there is not such a difference between them storage costs in hardware.

No it actually is great. I mean yeah not on xiaomi or huawei since they go with a closer to iphone interface, but not on OneUI

That depends on you too I use them navigations a lot it helps with one hand operating. Not having options for it isnt amy better also.

Whats the problem with cables? You gotta love the bass you get with the wired headphones.

By freedom I didnt mean that but whatever. I guess it counts in somehow

        --------------------------
Actually video editing has even less of a real life usage than navigations tho

Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners are actually as secure as face id

Havent seen any service centers around yet. Not a single one (both apple and samsung and huawei etc. Guess its about where you live? Aöerica öust have the max amount anyway since mkre than half the population of america uses iphones)

Even A50 has no hiccups when using except for 3 or 4 graphically demanding apps but an average user wouldnt get the performance Im getting so.....

Best video and photo exist on android too, but with punchier colors (except for potrait mode thats apple territory)

You can adjust display however you like on Android devices, including real-life colors. Samsung is the one that sells everyone their display anyway

Im not a fan of malware or bloatware and apple is really great there but, its for average users. Above average users mostly dont have those problems (never download everything you see. What even is there to download anyway?)

Now thats good. Not sure how practical but I support it (T3 chips)

Newsflash buddy, Google isn't the only privacy intrusive company, Apple has been reported to sell its customers data to Tencent.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2019People buy iPhones for attention? Some maybe, but most buy ... moreIts a bit like that here. Maybe not in America, but here people buy apple for the name mostly.

Well actually Samsung kept it for the S10 series. The reason why everyone gets rid of it is not about being futuristic. They cut the cost a little and sell bluetooth headphones for a price over 100 and boom. More profit.

Nah, havent seen wireless earbuds with a bass level even close to a wired Sony XB series headphones. But I guess its about personal preferences? I like bass more so I go prefer my bass boosted headphones.

And look that is the case with Oneplus too: fast start, not so fast pace. It still charges in a longer time than most. Yeah its good for those in need for a quick charge in a short go but not when it comes to more than that.

Huh? Why would I get an iphone for gaming? It doesnt have 3.5mm jack, which S10 series still have. Also: iphones notch is not really great for gaming.

PartTimePhoner, 15 Oct 2019Android for: -Storage -Customization -Navigating options... moreAndroid for:

                - cheaper storage
                - customization but the results are not even close to looking/working perfectly
                - Navigating options (See: One Hand Operation+ on Samsung) - not actually used in normal everyday scenarios
                - A headphone jack - cool if you love cables
                - Fast charging (see: literally any android smartphone that costs more than $300) - nice
                - Freedom (not for malwares) - freedom to play music/videos without paying for them, so that's wrong and illegal.
                - fast and secure Fingerprint scanners - work fine

                Iphone for:

                - Attention - not really, most people don't brag about their phones anymore, everyone is keeping a low profile with their devices and no one cares what everyone else is using. This is not 2010 anymore
                - BEST Performance (but only if you are planning to keep your phone for more than 3 years) or if you do video editing
                - seamless syncing (I mean apple ecpsystem has devices that work well together)
                - more updates (5 years)
                - fast and secure Face ID - work better and more secure than fingerprint ID
                - best reliability - rarely any issues or hiccups
                - price retention
                - service centers and Apple stores everywhere
                - strictly checked App Store so you know you can download anything without it blowing up in your face
                - app quality superior to android versions
                - best data and personal details security
                - can run without google apps or services installed, so great for privacy
                - no bloatware
                - best video and photo (iPhone 11 lineup) and great performance on previous models
                - Truetone display
                - colour accuracy
                - and now, with the introduction of T3 chips, iPhones 11 and onward will be less of a target for thieves, as they won't be able to use most of the hardware for parts on other phones.

PartTimePhoner, 15 Oct 2019Android for: -Storage -Customization -Navigating options... morePeople buy iPhones for attention? Some maybe, but most buy it for iOS. Your bias is starting to show now. We're moving past the headphone jack, even Samsung got rid of it. Most Android flagships don't even come with one now, you have to go to the lower-tier segment for that. Wireless is becoming just as good as wired, and the average person certainly can't tell the difference, even today. Face ID is more secure than a FPS, but I prefer the latter because I don't like the unibrow notch. And the rest is mostly software-related stuff. Also, all of the latest iPhone 11 models have very good endurance ratings even though two of those models have relatively small batteries. And 50% in 30 minutes isn't fast enough for you? No offense but you seem like an adolescent who's more interested in mobile gaming than anything else. If you really cared that much then you'd get an iPhone because of its catalogue of games, or a real handheld video game console with way better titles, like the Nintendo Switch.

PartTimePhoner, 15 Oct 2019You are talking like America is a weirdly rich country and ... moreIt's all about priorities. If you care a lot about storage, and certain other things, like customization, then get an Android. Large storage options are also available to iPhone users too, but as you alluded to already they come at a price. If you care about the fastest UX, updates, consistency, reliability, quality apps, content, and services, then get an iPhone. The UI is also the easiest to navigate too, anyone from a toddler to an elderly person can use it. OneUI is probably the least ugliest Android skin out there, but that isn't saying much. I'm not even going to mention the Chinese OEMs lol. The best UI will always be stock Android in terms of appearance and fluidity. Also, the iPhone will retain its value for many years whereas the Galaxy smartphone value will drop within a short timeframe. And it's not just Samsung but all Android smartphones. A lot of iPhone users know this and I'm sure it also factors into their decision-making process.

What do you expect from a $110 phone? 32GB storage with 1.5 or 2GB RAM, 720p 200ppi lcd screen and sluggish game performance with 10W charging with a single camera. What do you get with 1100? 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with the best chipset out there and a top-end 1440p 520ppi Dynamic AMOLED with 3 different cameras combined with a 3D ToF sensor and a zooming mic, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and an S-Pen but also adding 45W charging. They dont go 10x they go a lot further than that. Its not comparable to cars as thats a completely different endustry with different pricing tactics. If anyone else can, why cant Apple put 128GB as their base-storage just by cutting 10$ of their profit down from each device if they care about consumers? Look, 64 might be enough but that does NOT mean it should stop there. Was 5W not enough? It did charge the phone, didnt it? Why bring 18W? Or as others do, 65W?

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2019You can get more storage, you just need to pay for it. (pay... moreBut cars are a completely different case. This simply does not justify the fact that you are getting limited storage. Note10+ brings lots of features too just like iphone 11 does but they doubled the storage. 256GB storage aint a new thing its just brands pricing sole materials and workers cost around

And it's not that you pay more for nothing, that's just how value vs. price goes once you reach the top tier of technology. You always get diminishing returns and higher costs the further you go ahead with the latest tech.

The more performance, the less weight and size, the better reliability, all come with costs.
Say a 500 Mbps internet connection costs $20 for the general user. And when you have a business and you want the same 500 Mbps connection, you would get it at $300 from the same ISP, and that's because it comes with a 99.98% guaranteed uptime. Reliability costs money.

If you buy a $200, a $2,000, and a $20,000 bicycle, do you expect the $2k one to be 10x better than the $200 one? Do you expect the $20k one to be 10x better than the $2k and 100 times better than the $200 one?

Do you expect a luxury restaurant course to bring 10x more food on the table than what you would get at KFC for 10% of the price?

Considering a $30,000 Ford/Opel/Volkswagen/Kia comes pretty well packed with almost everything you need and goes 150mph+ does it sound right that a Ferrari which costs $300,000 should have a 10x bigger engine, 10x more power, 10x bigger tank, 10x bigger booth, 10x better mileage? And should it run at 1500 mph or close to that? When in reality it will run only 50-60-ish mph faster than a midrange car?
