Second of all, most mobile games aren't even optimized for those high refresh rate screens. And lastly, this tiny little iPhone SE 2 can play anything that the best Android flagships can, if not better! So what's the point of getting a "gaming smartphone" when any SD855/SD855+ smartphone will do just fine? And don't say mobile gaming accessories because there are plenty of third-party ones out there for all kinds of Android smartphones.

I think most of the people who are complaining here fall into two categories. The first one are the ones who want a 4 inch iPhone with the latest internals while the second one are the ones who want a 4 inch iPhone with the X design. Well...wait for another 4 years & you will probably get it with the SE 3 😃 I think Apple’s plan here is to slowly get people used to a bigger screen ....4inch first , than 4.7inch and probably next will be 5.4inch X design .

I also think that the iPhone 8's design is equally great too. Specs isn't everything and Apple proved that countless times already. Apple fans can be techies to, who are you to dictate that? They can fully utilize and take advantage of their iPhones and other devices just as well as non-Apple users. And if you want to flex or use the latest and greatest from Apple then by all means get an iPhone 11/Pro/Pro Max, they're not only the fastest smartphones out there but they're very stylish too!

I want an iPhone SE X, not iPhone SE 2 with the iPhone 8 body. I just want a $450 iPhone X with updated specs but I think the SE series is a perennial series where it'll get a sequel for every four years.

The whole phone is literrary bought from chinese Foxconn and apple Research and Developement costs are past few years zero.
Only a Genius would call copy paste a research and developement and thats what apple does past few years.
There is no invention.
Tripple camera is since P30 pro from 2018.
Design is copied from mate 20 pro.
CPU and GPU is made by TSMC there is not much money spent.
From what i posted before camera and screen was the most pricey things.

So if that phone’s components cost $450, then an absolutely fair price for it would be $1,350
This is how the majority of prices in this world are calculated in order to generate a sustainable income and be profitable + invest in R&D and acquisitions of smaller, emerging technology companies.
So yeah, the components in your super duper TV cost around 1/3 or less of what you paid for it, if you buy them straight from the manufacturer. The components are less than 33% of the price when you involve an intermediary, such as retail stores. They add more to the price.
Same with your toaster, your coffee machine, washing machine, your car, clothes, sunglasses, food, toys, etc. basically most things around you are priced following the same rule. Because that’s sustainable for companies, while other pricing schemes are most likely not.

If you want one then there are plenty of options available to you right now! Get the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro Max if you want something 6-inches or bigger. The next iPhone SE won't be that small anyway, it'll probably be just under 5-inches or something; at least that's what I'm hoping for.

That would be a nice phone, but if it's based on the iPhone 8, then the screen would be much too tiny. Having to zoom in to read smaller text just isn't very convenient.
