You'll know that the quality is way better.
Sensor is bigger and the entire 64mp is usable providing plenty of detail instead of providing marginal increment in details

Pro version is great and very tempting to buy at that price.
-Helio 90 processor.
-Great camera sensor
-HDR screen on budget device.
-Beefy 4500mAh battery.
-Even budget devices offering 960fps slow motion recording. The Pixel series should take notes.
-Redmi series has always enjoyed extensive Custom ROM support. Although I don't know if it will be the same with a Mediatek chipset.

- the company was condamned several time in several countries for abuse of dominance, predatory pricing, anti-competitive behavior, non FRAND behavior (overpriced fees on essentiel patents)
- this behavior leads to the end of many competitors on smartphones (NVIDIA, Intel, Texas Instruments, broadcom, Via, st-microelectronics...)
- competition is always good for OEM and then for final consumers
- Exynos and Kirin aren't true competitors (available only on Samsung's and Huawei's)
As kernel sources are available, consumers should get Note 8 Pro :
- make Qualcomm understand that unfair behavior (according to courthouses decisions) is no longer acceptable
- applause Mediatek's efforts to release powerfull chipset despite unfair competition.
- show Mediatek they can use better process on their next products.
- creat a good community to force custom roms developpement.
Developpers should work on Mediatek's...
Custom roms are kind of freedom...
A freedom based on a monopoly is an illusion.

Too Late .Realme Quad Camera already 2 month before launch.but one thing in this is also have there place in selection of customer during diwali
Realme 5/Note 8 (same price during this month-Rlme 5 with 6.5 in plus 5kMah and note 8 18w plus FHD display )
and realme 5pro/note8Pro vs Realme XT there is alternative only XT has Super AMOLED Pkus in display Fingerprint. 5 pro and 8 pro XT ₹1k difference

Why everybody are really demanding. At this price point there is no phone that has perfect features. Xiaomi sells these phones with very tight profit margin, similar story to Realme.
