It's really true that Cell Phone should be up to 4.5 to 4.7' or 4.8 maximum.. it should be used by single handed while at driving also..

As far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as a ones size fits all.
It is entirely Down to preference and what you use it for. Ideally I'd go for about 5.2".

4.5 inch is perfect for me be would not mind a 5 inch but not more bigger than that. My LG Rebel is pretty nice for a cheap phone.

This discussion will always be subjective, but IMO the 'sweet spot' for a phone display is 4.5 - 5.5 in. I wouldn't want anything smaller or larger. My current (2016) phone, Galaxy at 5.0

I use a lot of phone, mostly games... I had Sony Z3, so now my eyes are getting dryer, and I'm looking for small-screen phone.. Tried Sony Z3 compact, Samsung S5 mini, Z1 compact, still too big screens... No going for 4 inch Phones.. Be careful with large screens, it takes about 3 years when eyes get dry...

I do not want a larger phone...4 inches is ideal ...my lumina 532 is not a super phone but does everything I need or want. Battery is very decent. I do not play any games....
I wish that Sony would make a high end 4 inch phone.

The best phone for me is apple iPhone SE. The ideal screen size for me is 3.5 to 4.5 inches. But if phone in this size is not available then 5.0 inches is best and not a single inch bigger than it

4.3 to 4.6 not to small too hurt eyes and not too big to be hard to hold I wish apple make a Iphone in this range or make a smaller margin . I have the Iphone 6s right now and its hard to use with one hand

3.5 inch is the best size for me; small enough to easily use one handed to do any operation, yet also small enough to fit nicely in the pocket. Shame they have almost stopped making phones this size :( .
I really don't understand the bigger phones either, if I really want to watch a better quality film/video/webpage I will sit and watch it on the TV or PC which has a far better at viewing than an oversized phone.
