NO, you don't have clue about the semiconductor industry
all these technologies are of american origin,samsung and other asian OEMs only licensed them
i.e.
AMOLED >>> invented by KODAK and GE
IPS >>> by radio corp of america
A4/A5 SoCs >>> intrinsity semi conductors, texas
Apple has no manufacturing facility,so they outsource production to other parties like most of electronic companies
samsung is an exceptional case coz they run both fabless and foundry businesses
so please don't say nonsense

Seems that while everyone fights over who made what, that indicates that everyone agrees that this is one helluva fine product right? If it were a stinking pile of garbage, I'm no so sure that the Samsung fans here would be so vocal.
So it's settled then, the iPad is awesome! :)

Apple did invent. Apple provide the blueprint, then those company make the parts. They're like contractors. Get it?
Example. Engineers & architects design a building, contractors build it.

AnonD-33815, 16 Mar 2012this was something very well known by people who arent blin... moreYou wee right until you said that half of the iPad is Samsung... because as you probably know the iPad is made up of hundreds of components... but where you're mistaken is that Samsung makes a few of them including the display and several other companies all the rest... heck I would bet that Samsung doesn't even supply half of the components in their tablets... although you are half right about how Samsung makes the processors but the processor is made by Apple (the only component that is) and manufactured by Samsung...

Samsung is just another manufacturer to be used by Apple, why everyone acts so surprising? The reason why Apple can gain high margin profit while still maintaining cheaper sell price and high quality is because they outsourcing the labours. Doesn't mean that Samsung can produce the same component to be used in their own products or sell it to other company, because the design is still belong to Apple. Apple owns the patent, Apple invented it, Apple design and created the prototype, Samsung just manufactured in into mass quantities. And remember, the same thing applies to all other components, whoever won the bid will manufactur it but doesn't mean they own it. The sum of them is the iPad, and it's all Apple. There is no such thing as Samsung Apple. Stop spurting nonsense.

this was something very well known by people who arent blind.as i wrote in many different blogs before, apple has been thoroughly fooling people since they founded! they have never been a tech company.let me tell you that almost the half of the ipad is consisted of samsung made parts as the display,processor, ram, nand flash and all the other chip based hardware. so we can easily call this device a samsung with different casing.cant we ? ;)
