        Wtf.

AnonD-454049, 26 Oct 2019Lay off the drugs, xiaomi is the price to performance ratio kingthat's not completely true. The quality of a Huawei flagship is better than that of a Xiaomi flagships. Upon release Huawei flagships can be very expensive but after about 6 months their prices drop about %30 due to the constant release of phones.

So a flagship Huawei phone can be the king of price/performance, just not upon release.

My whole family of 5 are using Huawei Mate 20s and p30 series. Very nice phone and great cameras. I used to be an Apple fan for a few years and went back to Android Sammy. Now Huawei is my number 1 choice price to performance wise.

[deleted post]Why would you want to choose between these two anyway? Aren't they both a train wreck? It's like choosing between being shot or being poisoned; none are satisfactory.

We need something much better and inclusive, something which both don't provide

[deleted post]You're getting ahead of yourself here. Calm down. It's not everyone and it's not dumping out their patents out of USA. They do this to sell more blueprints. They do this solely to sell more.

I hope Huawei just develop their own chips. So they won't get bothered by fickle decisions from other companies/countries.

ve a phone which i bought in china n is without g
apps n have since been used to without using it

i will buy huawei phone again someday n
will support them even if they r expensive

Say what you want, it still was horshet about Huawei choosing to not use the Cortex A77 cpu for its 2020 devices and Mate 30 Pro. And Huawei is a pawn, it's insignificant when compared to the larger economy of China.

There really is dirty politics and citizen spying within China's rollout of internet network. As long as that gets sorted, even if it is at the expense of Huawei, it is worth it. That goes double-ways against USA and its Cisco network's built-in backdoors.

This news made me feel sooo happy because Now Huwaei can competitors stiff competition.

Again. That is the real reason Mate 30 were not released with the lastes cpu cores.. the first time a Mate series phone released without the best hardware available.

Nothing to do with the suggestion that they could go to RISCV instead?
