There is no stable Android Pie in the near future, regular security updates should keep arriving.

Time to go for Xiaomi.

Let this be a warning to anyone wanting to buy Zenfone 6 or ROG Phone 2 - Asus doesn't care about updates.

Damn even Samsung manages to give atleast 2 years with of major updates to flagships, and considering the amount of flack Samsung get for not updating phones enough that's saying something about Asus.

I think ASUS needs to be serious about there updates. In 2019 there are no mid range phone from ASUS. We don't expect that.

I guess Asus can't handle the level of bloat on their old UI. The worst part is that the 1st RoG Phone won't get a major update at all.

Let's be glad that ZenUI 6 and next iterations moving forward are stock-like that it can be updated easily.

I sure am glad I skipped the 4 altogether :)

Soon this post will be flooded with haters forgetting that big brands neglect their midrangers.

This is a bit unusual for Asus, thoug.
I remember starting on my fonepad 7 at 4.2 and finishing on lollipop, pretty decent for that time.
