This the only phone that makes sense for a foldable screen, really, the only one, back in its days, the razr V3 was a very expensive device, at least in my country

Unlike those dumb ideas like Fold, Mate X and Mix Alpha.

A legend is reborn!
I do hope Motorola would release a "Pro" version of this with top-notch specs.
As for the price, it's about what you should expect. Every new tech is expensive on launch, but gets cheaper with time.

This phone could be a winner, but Motorola likes to exploit their brand name by releasing below average hardware for above average prices. If it will truly sell for $1500 yet have only SD 710 and 2.700mh battery then count me out. As cool as it looks we are better off waiting the next Galaxy Fold on March 2020.

So far so great.
Just love it but battery should be bigger 2730 mAh for a 6,2 inch is definitely a drag.
Like the latest pixels.
For what sake ithey made a very pricey smartphone if its battery is dead imediately i unplug it from a charger.

If it looks like that, comes with Android 9 instead of 10 out of the box, and price drops below $500 in a year, this will be my next smartphone. I actually owned two black RAZRs before and never saw the big deal about them. But I do yearn to own a flip phone again.
Like my Pixel 3, I will use this RAZR as my daily driver. But my daily driver basically acts like a Wi-Fi hotspot most of the time. That's why I could care less if the display is smaller. And both Motorola and Nokia are known for strong signal and clear reception.
After I get this RAZR, my next device will be the Surface Duo. I feel I can't top my Pixel 3 and Essential Phone with the slab design and my minimum requirements. They're close to perfect on how I want them to be with that slab design. I'm just getting the RAZR and Surface Duo for a different form factor.

A small phone that gets bigger is what everyone needs, not a huge phone that gets twice as massive! Hopefully more companies will do this.

How come Motorola didn't update the SoC? They had the time to design a new mobo to use Snapdragon 730G.
