Samsung's next flagship could use a second iteration of the 108 MP ISOCELL Bright HMX.

      Anonymous, 04 Nov 2019LOL, do you think HMD really has Zeiss and Huawei has Leica... moreIn order to use Leica/Zeiss brand names the phone manufacturers need pass far stricter quality control tests of those companies, and the lens quality on Nokia and Huawei phones are in fact typically a lot better than that on Samsung, Google and Apple's phones, so branding isn't there for nothing. And a plastic lens on a phone can resolve a very high amount of details if it's designed well enough.

            Yes. Samsung, Apple, Sony, Google etc use plastic lenses.

I'm not saying though that it wouldn't be an improvement over what we have right now.

                                I neard that huawei will order a 1/1.2" one , with at least 60MP.
                                Same size of nokia 808.

                                  How you all want 8K? Phone would melt.
                                  Cameras that record 8K have coolers inside like computers.
                                  8k = 4 x 4K .....

                                  Also during videos, the sensor will be working below 27MP (16:9 uses less portion of sensor) , The 8K requires to be 32MP in 16:9 mode.
