Samsung Galaxy S11 tipped to come in three sizes and five variants in total, depending on 5G

There will probably be no flat display option in Samsung's next mainstream flagship family.

Just when I thought that the S6 lineup (S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+) and S10 (S10e, S10, S10+, S10 5G) were as crazy many as they could get for the entire series of flagships in one generation, the S11 series actually even tries to beat them!
5 flagships in one year? No wait, 7 or 8!! (Note 11, Note 11+, maybe even Note 11 5G!)

Alright, I say 4 flagships is already overkill, but this is beyond insane.
Imagine how many resources are being wasted for spamming basically the same exact phone with only some clever differences that could've been present across the entire lineup.

As long as there will be no pop-up camera or any gimmicks, no issues with software such as the S10/Note 10's fingerprint sensor, and a chipset that doesn't throttle easily

Maybe this phone will be great

Why on earth would you need 3 >6 inch "phones" in your lineup? Give me back my 5 inch flagship phone damn it. I am so angry that the choices of smaller phones are taken away from Android users.

So the regular S11 will have 6.7" screen instead of the 6.1" of the S10...even if they manage to trim the bezel to near zero, it means the size of the phone will be much bigger. Shame, i like the compactness of my S10...So maybe S11e for me. Or no more Samsung...let's wait and see.

People hate 21:9 on Sony, but not 21:9 of Motorola nor of Galaxy Fold.

No flat screen is a disaster. I'm on the note10 now after S7 and then LG v30,so first curved display for me, and I really hate it. The LG V30 was a way more impressive phone, I might just go back. I hope LG comes up with an updated version of V30, same size or slightly smaller, and as important, the same low weight. WITH A FLAT SCREEN!

5.7inches, 6.3inches and 6.9inches would have been the 0erfecr 3 size options. Hopefully, the largest one had editing capabilities on a smartphone.

More than size and other things, I keep hoping for even better smartphone cameras, each time. Hopefully a 108MP sensor with a white set in the Quad Pixel/Tetracell and an f1.5 lens for great low light. Hopefully the other 3-4 sensor have super fast readout and extremely high detail and dynamic range in photo. The S10 is already class leading for dynamic range (especially the Snapdragon version), but smartphones need to finally start being the top end point and shoot. Hopefully Samsung works at have an extremely high resolution lens on the S11, that resolves over 27MP images.

6.2 or 6.4 inches doesn't sound too bad if they use 20:9 display. It will be 2.79 or 2.88 inches wide.
I prefer a smaller phone tho.

Very disappointed that even the S11e is tentatively having a curved display. I was looking to upgrade from the S9 to it as opposed to the S10e but I suppose I'll have to look at the S10e again.
