Samsung Galaxy S11 tipped to come in three sizes and five variants in total, depending on 5G

There will probably be no flat display option in Samsung's next mainstream flagship family.

The iPhone XR was successful so Samsung thought the S10e would be as well. Nope, apparently the masses don't care about cheaper if it's smaller, they want huge, Huge and HUGE.
This probably means the A40 is dead as well.

i agree whats been said by others, having 3 sizes to choose from is great but a sub 6" screen size offering is a must. A lot of people prefere the more compact of designs and dont want something that stuggles to go in your pocket. According to this the aspect ratio has changed so this might help with the plus 6" screen sizes. But weight also plays a part as i find anything over 160g makes for uncomfortable use.
Im disappointed that they are still playing bigger is best and this is because they have nothing new to offer apart from making them even bigger year after year.

21:9 aspect ratio of the display will be bad and useless idea! Who need it ? And why ? And when ??

              Whackcar, 09 Nov 2019So they're basically scrapping off S11e. The models they're... moreThere will be : S11e 4G, s11e 5G, s11 4G, S11 5G and S11+ 5G. No s11+ 4G.

                So they're basically scrapping off S11e. The models they're releasing are S11, S11+ & S11 5G, which are successors to S10, S10+ & S10 5G. They've increased the sizes of all three models from 6.1, 6.4 & 6.7 respectively to 6.4, 6.7 & 6.9.

I guess the sales for the S10e weren't that impressive. Either that, or they want to keep the S series exclusive to the highest-end phones.

Acceptable size for note series. For S series it won't work.. very sad if it is true. S10 variants were much better

I would say it is wrong that there will be no smaller S series phones since it is still a flagship model and 6.4" screen is not small at all.
It just means that phone with the highest specs of these three will set again new price tag record. Cheapest might be couple dollars cheaper than S10 and Samsung will proudly say that now S series starts at lower price.

                              No flat screen, no buy.

I used to charge ipad every two days, now I charge daily. I admit I've spent much ore time using it than before. That is my fault, not the battery (which is almost 9000mAh).

The smallest option is the same size as the Note9. I'm a big phone guy, but I don't see the point in having 3 phone sizes and having them all be big.

I like the idea of three of different sizes, that started with Sony Z5 series.
But as long as all have same specs, of course except screen and battery sizes.
                                    Also smaller with FHD.
